Dr Claire Scannell, Principal Meteorological Officer at Met Éireann, breaks down data on observed and projected Climate Change in Ireland and how this may impact our weather. Dr Scannell spoke at the EPA’s Climate Conference 2024.
This year’s EPA climate conference focused on Climate Adaptation in Ireland. It considered current physical impacts of climate change in Ireland; the impacts on our people, environment and infrastructure; and the strategic adaptation responses from a policy, fiscal and physical perspective.
The conference is part of the National Dialogue on Climate Action.
