I love that not only did Andrew not feel weird when Brooke was explaining how obsessed she was with him and his work, but he also validated her obsessions and related to them with his own personal obsessions. As someone who has felt very shamed for being obsessed (and even just normally appreciating things), It just makes me so happy because Brooke deserves to hear that her obsessions aren’t weird, and are in fact valid, from a person who has been one of her obsessions at one point in her life
OMG THE OCD AWARENESS THANK YOU!!!! absolutely LOVE the open discussion about this disorder because it's so misunderstood. "Pure" OCD is the type where you have more mental compulsions than outward behavioral ones, which is the reason it takes us so long to get diagnosed only doing talk therapy. ERP is the answer!! Love you both!!
facts this happened to me where i was misdiagnosed and still lowkey gaslight myself that i don’t actually have ocd bc i don’t have mant outward compulsions

I really really appreciate how candid, honest, vulnerable and detailed this OCD conversation was. Even as someone without OCD I think talking about the intimate details of mental illness is so important and rarely this authentic and genuine 🩵

this episode i think perfectly highlights the differences between brooke and connor. brookes interactions with celebrities is focused on their craft, like she isn’t obsessed with them because they are famous but because she loves the work they’ve done and i think that comes across so clearly in this interview!! put brooke in more rooms!!!

this was such a heartwarming episode and I also just wanna say that I truly think everyone with OCD should give ERP therapy a try. I have extremely severe Pure Obsessional OCD and ERP (combined with medication in my case) has genuinely saved my life and given me so much of my brain back. So glad Andrew shed light on that form of therapy. The way you treat OCD is often not the way you’d treat anxiety because of the obsessional, reassurance seeking nature of it, so a dedicated OCD treatment like ERP is life changing. ❤
i swear the Maneater scene changed everyone who saw it lmao i watched it in bed with my man one night and after that scene, we both just sat there in silence like ... wtf just happened??? IT WAS SO GOOD!!!! we were both super impressed and my man doesn't get impressed that easily lmao we watched the movie 2 nights in a row bc that's how much we loved it lol i haven't laughed at a movie so hard in a looooong time

i am so in the midst of my starkid hyperfixation 😊 they came so close to getting discussed when the brittany broski episode mentioned darren criss and very potter musical, but as soon as i saw andrew was on this episode i KNEW starkid would finally get talked about, made me so happy!
