OBSESSION IS EASY NOW - and that's okay | Darkest Dungeon 2 

Flagellant getting hit 2 times with a crit in a row for 30 damage each. Expected nothing less from this boss fight.

Finally this fight feels fair now. I respect the devs for not giving up on eie boi.

I don’t feel like this boss is easy so much as it is far less punishing towards anything but a specific team composition. More tactics can beat it.

Personally, I just appreciate the fact that they gave a way to interact with the seen tokens. That, at least, gives way for further balancing either up or down. Being able to play with the boss instead of dps racing or crossing your fingers in hopes of the game working with you. Major ups, even if I feel it's just a teensy bit too easy now. I'd rather we be down here and have the ability to work upwards than not.

one thing that really bothers me still about relations is that when you get a good relationship, a random abillity that you are not even using can be affected. You work so hard to build a good relation, that i feel that you should get a random abillity that you have EQUIPPED upgraded as soon as you leave the inn

I thought that this boss was easy, then I got to the next stage (the one that starts at 7:40) and went "Oh..." Needless to say... Actually I managed to beat it first try with Vestal (Seraph), Man at Arms, Hellion, and Jester (Soloist, because the breacher quirk made finale jester an obvious choice). Man at Arms died after having a meltdown. This boss was obsessed with my Vestal after, and I guess for good reason: Despite being soft, she went resolute twice. (I mean she was also calm, but still wish I had recorded it because the fact she survived getting crit like 70 damage every single round and went resolute twice seemed like massively good luck). For anyone having trouble with the first stage, Man at Arms defending does work to redirect enemies away from the "seen" unit if it isn't him. Not sure if taunting does or not.

All we want is strategy and a bit of rng... before it was a fiasco and hoping to get glared to the tank

The fight is a bit too rng based though. Like if the boss resists your blind that is really bad. When the boss is blind it is still a 50/50 coin toss. The fight literally goes “you are either crit for 75 dmg or the opponent misses and does 0 dmg” its a 0-100 really easy or really hard fight.

How are feeling about the latest Update from Mythic Games over on KS? I don't know why Red Hook let Mythic drag Darkest Dungeon's IP through the pig muck like this.

I am tilting around at the Obsession Chapter for many months now. I stubbornly try to make my MaA-less run work somehow. It never does.

I wouldn't mind the Confession bosses being "easy", if the Stygian Blaze changed their (and all the Lair bosses + Exemplar) mechanics and made them tougher. But that's not happening, is it ?

Monarch Leper should ignore the debuffs the path gives when fighting cosmic enemies.

I hate this boss, takes ages to get there and then he stomps me every time. Feel like giving up with it. Game has such a poor difficulty curve

Anyone can recommend a team to do this? With the attacks, trinkets, items, etc? I'm having troubles with the teams in the video
