What do you all think of this new format? Should we do more of these? If so, who should I interview next?

I appreciated it. I wonder if Hendrix Erz, the creator of Zettlr would be a good option. He’s put a lot of careful and critical thought into the field.

Stephan Ango would probably be the one I’d be most excited to listen to it in this format. But I’d love to hear in-depth conversations like this with other indie developers as well. As a designer who’s dabbling a teeny bit with programming as well I feel like you found a really nice balance of technical and not too technical, which I found really fascinating. Really wish that it was published as an actual podcast though, so I could listen to it audio only, without having the RU-vid app open on my phone in my pocket.

Oh! And all sorts of tool for thought-people would be really interesting as well. People like TFThacker, Maggie Appleton, Swyx, the people over at Tana, there’s an endless amount of people to choose from in that space

Very interesting and insightful conversation! Didn’t know about Mr. Zhao and his work yet - he seems to be an awesome guy with great values and a good mindset. Quartz obviously speaks for itself. Being a professional software developer myself and as someone who is waiting for the Supernote A5 X2 to integrate it into a custom Obsidian / Second Brain workflow, that might be contributing to the reboot of my website, this talk arrived just at the right time. I was planning to use Kirby for the site, but Quartz is something I will still at least look into. The back and forth between the two of you and Mr. Zhao’s musings about various obscure quirks and bugs he has found over the years was just the right amount of nerdiness I needed today. Love this format and would be on board for more stuff like this. Thanks for the video and keep up the great work!

This was a great conversation, although at times over my head. As someone new to Obsidian and trying to pick technologies to engage with very intentionally, this was helpful. It may be too complex of an integration for me currently, but who knows. Thanks for presenting this.
