That reminds of of the story my mom told me of when she gave birth to my brother and my dad was annoying her so she punched him in the head. Her finger broke when she did that
I had 3 babies back to back and the last time I was wheeled out they said “see ya in like a year” I waited 7 to have the 4th baby but that same nurse welcomed me back 😂
@@maygirl1595 it was awesome, I even delivered in the same room as the other babies and had the same recovery room. I’m so lucky to have great labor experiences and memories
I am a one and done, I didn’t even have my first yet… but i am only willing to put myself through pregnancy once, out second child will be adopted, there’s enough children out there who need a loving family ❤️ and even if we struggle to conceive i wont sweat it
This DOES happen on a rare occasion where one twin is born preemie and the other is safe to stay inside for a while longer. But usually by THIS stage they KNOW it's twins. Edit: I never said two uteruses isn't a thing....and honestly IDK where that all came from. I'm just giving one of many possible explanations so no need to bite my head off.
Even better. Two uterusses and the second one was hiding twins 👀 Apparently this happened somewhere, where prenatal care wasn't available to the woman, so she never had an ultrasound.
I just spent the last half hour going threw all the Instagram videos you all have and omg I wish I had nurses like you when I had my kids.. you make this world a better place and I love seeing nurses who love their jobs..
I was ready straight after first labour. My daughter was so sweet i fell in love instantly and couldn't wait for another. After second pregnancy i had enough. Whole pregnancy and labour were so painful I'm done.
@@daniquerhone6880 I went into labor too early and delivered one twin. They then were able to stop the labor with meds to try to keep the other twin in longer. But part of the placenta from the first one was still in there and when it finally came away a week later it made me go back into labor. Because the placenta coming away caused me to start hemorrhaging out really bad that had to hurry and deliver the second twin with forceps instead of trying to stop the labor again.
Honestly, that can happen you can also have twins from two different baby daddies if you’re pregnant and falling around with somebody, another egg can be fertilized by another man
I’m one and DONE. My baby has this rare syndrome called amniotic band syndrome. She was a twin. The twin passed at 6-8 weeks in utero. The twin damaged the amniotic sac and bands came loose and wrapped around my baby’s leg and fingers and foot. She’s missing toes on one foot. Her other foot was partially amputated and re-attached at 3 days old (it will be fully amputated closer to a year) she also has some missing/fused fingers. She was born on St. Patrick’s day. My water broke at 23 weeks and she was born at 31. I will NEVER have another baby lol spoiling the hell out of my fighter. She’s too precious to not flood with ALL the love
I worked in the Nicu for 30 years. Labor and delivery would come and talk to us about what walked in. One afternoon a 25-year-old came in to be seen in the ER. She had been to the ER once before. They did everything but do a pregnancy test the first times round. They told her she had indigestion and sent her home. Some weeks later she came back. She didn’t look pregnant. Guess what, she had a baby within the hour. She called her boyfriend and said you’re going to be a dad. He said when? She said this afternoon! The only one who could make it to the birth was her dad!
I went into the ER and found out I was 34 weeks pregnant. I didn't have a big stomach, I've always had stomach issues, so I didn't think of pregnancy, and also, I was on birth control and lightly bled once in a while.
@panda5122 That's what I thought too, but no, apparently not. I had two x-rays and I was put on Gabapentin luckily the x-rays were for my shoulders and neck and I stopped taking the medication earlier because it was giving bad side effects.
My youngest was born at 32 weeks. 4 pounds 6 ounces just over 17 inch. He never went to a NICU. He was doing so crazy good they sent him home after 3 days. He's 18 now

I was 1lb 11ounces the size of my dad's hand. Not sure if my mom still has those pics. So crazy how small we babies could be. 34 now married, and hopefully one day have one of my own.
@lilyxavier-1990 my middle child was in the NICU. Their "roomy" was a baby that must have been tinier than to were. Can't remember the weight exactly, but the girl was born 24 weeks 3 days. How long were you in the hospital and were there any lasting issues? My son has a learning disability, but this has most likely to do with his autism.
@@corneliamalies9681 I don't remember how long my mother said for. But I needed tubes in my ears which later on meant hearing aids and have had asthma all my life. Needing glasses was my own fault( lol reading late at night in the dark).
My parents had only me for financial reasons ( yea they knew they couldn't raise another baby and they stopped instead of bringing more and more unfortunate babies in this world) and they've always been villainised by society. Even me, I'm the villain because I'm an only child and they suppose I'm spoiled and selfish, antisocial and all that. People have always kept asking why parents why only 1 child, or 1=0 children. What is wrong with people? Don't ask when they'll have a second child. They ask even now that I'm 27 why my mum didn't have another baby. My mum said once that even if you have 5 children and one of them dies, the remaining 4 won't cover the empty space in your heart.

Many times in south asian cultures it's like why don't you have kids. Then you have one, then you get asked why not 2. Then if you don't have more than 2, they think it's odd. (Minimum 3 is "normal"). It's like excuse me you are not going to be coming in my bedroom 3 in the AM when the baby is sick and crying. This is all for your benefits, not the mother!
My son was born at 29weeks 1 day. We stayed in our NICU for 4 months, went home one week, had to go back to the hospital for another month in the PEDS unit. He is now 2 years old ❤
My gram told me that she went to the same hospital with the same nurse and each time she said see you next year shed have another 😂 she had 4 kids in about 5 years and had a couple years break then had 5 more all a year apart. My mother and one of her sisters share the same exact birthday but 4 years apart 😅😂
Lol i thought i was "one and done." Nahh. Six. Im at 6 right now. 😂 For me, it actually got easier with each one. My 6th baby, i delivered entirely painless. I laughed the whole time cuz it didnt hurt and that blew my mind. 😂
This happened with my twins - I never felt any pain at all, and my midwife said she had never had anybody laugh and joke through an entire delivery before! 😂
My daughter has 5 kids and none of them were pain free… her 4th was my first granddaughter and she had her with a midwife and not at the hospital, she said that was the most painful birthing experience ever, so with her last one my second granddaughter she had her in the hospital with an epidural…
My baby boy was born at 33 weeks 2 days. Was in NICU for 4 weeks home 1 week then he stopped breating did CPR on the way to the hospital he was admitted again for 2 weeks because he had meningitis and he was discharged laas week Monday and was pronounced dead at 05:15am Tuseday morining. Hold your babies tight never know when God might need another angel😢
I saw comments on two uteruses. My mom had two. 😅 They kept her uterus and it went to science. They wanted to follow and document all 3 births she had. This was the 80s so they didn't have the equipment or thought if too see if it was a double uterus. They were both in synch and everything it was wild.
My sister said that after my niece was born, one and done. Then it was wellllll, if it happens it happens. 14 years later, she's now almost due with baby #4. I'm already planning on baby #5 and she says that nope, this time she's 100% done. I said we'll see.
@TriviaCountdown I'm not apposed to having 4. But I'd like to have singletons from here on out as another set of twins would just be too hard to juggle. And then it kind of defeats the wanting to experience each thing like pregnancy and the beginning of newborn stage. I was so busy juggling babies and trying to keep everything even on if one baby gets snuggles or 5 kisses. The other must get snuggles and 5 kisses and stressed if I spent more time with baby A and then I'm not bonding with baby B. I don't want to do that again but I'd be over the moon to enjoy a singleton pregnancy/newborn
@@Cassmede My sister would have loved twins at one point, but that was not her fate. Her fate was to be sick her entire pregnancies, like really bad. Her births/deliveries were nothing, but the pregnancies themselves.... yikes.
@TriviaCountdown I had to be on nausea meds because I couldn't eat my entire first trimester and then was on bedrest from 15 weeks on as I had gestational diabetes that needed 2 kinds of insulin. Had placenta previa, pre-eclampsia, high blood pressure. My god the list goes on. And yet. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. My body didn't do great pregnant but my boys thrived. I unno. I just love babies so much I'd have 4 or more (if we won the lottery because I have zero milk supply and formula is crazy expensive here in Canada)
It'll just be because the 2nd one has the highest views due to the climax of the story being in it. Then watching that one tells the algorithm to show you this one. Annoying though when you want to see a storyline play out from start to finish.

My daughter was 2 months early and she never had to go to the NICU because she was healthy in every way. Just impatient to get here, that was all. They did decide to keep both of us for a whole week, just to be sure no problems developed after her premature birth. But, we were very lucky to have the hospital and the OB that we did!!
My ob said she will see me soon during my 6 week check up. I told her “nope not this chick here” 😂 I wish that was true !my kid is 5 and we are struggling to stay pregnant.
It’s weird how many people are obsessive about giving only children a sibling. Why is it socially acceptable to ask a mother who still has literal stitches on her vagina from giving birth the last time if she’s gonna have another one? Let the woman adjust to motherhood first, damn. And only children do just fine.
I was an only child and I hated it. I was a very lonely child and vowed I would never have a one and done, even if I had to adopt. Turns out I gave birth to 3 and adopted 2. At 70 I still dislike being an only child.

Yes but it’s rare and the only case I’m aware of is my mom’s friend whose one was born so early you could put a wedding ring on their arm. The little dude lived. When I suggested the name be Job they were not happy. In the end though I was right that his name should be Job because he lived
If uterine didelphys is in play, most definitely possible. Rare, but DEFINITELY possible lol. Uterine didelphys is when a woman is born with 2 uteruses. And sometimes it's possible to get pregnant in BOTH at the same time. Albiet, it could be a wildy different stages of gestation as well, which is the crazy part. But of course, it does make it more risky for mama. But it's still a cool and crazy medical thing
I knew a lady born in the 50s. Mom had a boy, then she was surprised when she found out it was twins. Named them traditional 50's boy names, got them home and one was a girl. A girl named William
Does she have a 2nd uterus? I recently heard that the uterus and kidney form around the same time and that occasionally someone will have 2 uteruses and 1 kidney!
Wouldn’t one be unusable. There would only be 2 ovaries connecting to one and a connection to the vagina or whatever. It would just be floating in the place of the kidney.
@@Screech911 Each case is individual as to the arrangement of the uteri, the number of ovaries and open fallopian tubes and whether there is access to the uteri from the fallopian tubes the vaginal canal and cervical neck openings as well. I personally DID know a woman who had this condition and had she had two babies three months apart. She was tiny and thin and did not know she had this condition. A "purse-string" suture was put in the cervical neck of her uterus that the younger baby was growing inside of.
Unprofessional and inappropriate of the staff to pressure her like that hust after watching her husband do the same. Im just its tongue and cheek (given part 3!), but if your medical care team does this shit to you and it makes you uncomfortable, you can ask for a new team or a new doctor/nurse.
My husband asked me as I was 7cm dilated and having a contraction lol I said yes!! I have conceived at 4 months with another little blessing after trying for 7 years for our first child❤
I was so blessed that when I left the hospital on the third day my belly had completely disappeared. People told me that I looked like I was never pregnant, and I also always said I only wanted to have one daughter, who is now 18 years old, one is enough.
That's... that's what they call the NICU. They don't spell out N-I-C-U. I think I've heard people call it the "NIC-U" before, but most people call it the "nigh-see-you"
I had to wait agonizing ten years until I was finally a mom at 28. Preemie, cesarean and everyone shouted at me to never have another child ever again. 3 years later I finally had a full term pregnancy and a vbac. Now almost 37 and I have only two children.

It would be wildly unprofessional and inappropriate. "Could you imagine" as if it doesn't happen every day, but still. When my cousin got married she and her husband both didn't want kids. They decided to change their minds and try for one. She had quintuplets. They were both not thrilled about it but made it work. Thankfully all the kids survived but also they had our whole family to help out. The extra babies aren't free, there's no discount for having multiples. Your obsession with multiples is weird. "Make her have triplets?!?" Sis, dafuq?
@@lavenderoh exactly. When my mom was pregnant with my brother (35 years ago) ultrasounds were not something common to get. She only got one with him because they had a hard time finding his heartbeat. And my friend's mom didn't know she was having twins til it happened because one was hidden behind the other
Why would you even ask someone who gave birth if they are going to have another one soon? I would be pissed. Let the mother recover first before asking that sort of stuff.
@pistachexiaohua6705 is not for a family member or friend to decide. My son isn't lonely He doesn't know any different My nephew and my son are 18 months and 1 day apart. My son now is 15. He understands and respects my decision on why he is only a child. This world we live in is insane and the cost of living. I could never have more mouths to feed and struggle to give him less. ( Yes, dad is in his life) We are no longer together, but his dad did not have any more children, neither.
I had all prems. Sadly lost my first bubby at 20w and got diagnosed with incompetent cervix. I always wanted children and decided to have children. 32w5d, 30w3d, and 31w1d. I had some pretty bad births, including an unmedicated VBA2C on 2 inverted T scars without having my cerclage removed...she deffo made me decide absolutely no more
But how do you not see them?? Don't they give ultrasounds? Can't they count to two or do the ultrasounds look as blurry to them and they just make stuff up??
Wow- I didn’t even get to hold my daughter when she was born. Straight to the NICU edited: I just remembered that the hospital she was born at didn’t have a NICU. So they had to put my baby in a glass incubator to transport her. I’m sure due to the urgency was why.. but for some reason I stayed at the hospital she was born at overnight and wasn’t able to go see her until 10:00 the next morning!! She was born at 5 pm!! Lord I couldn’t sleep. I know it sounds fucked up, but they could have changed my baby for all I knew.. but you look at her and you can definitely tell that she’s mine 🥰
I don’t understand when the dad said “ready for another one?” And doc was like HUSH!!! But when the doc says it on her way out, why is it different??? I must have missed something lol
I only gained 10!be during my pregnancy and that was all in the last month. On top of that I had a fibroid tumor on the top of my uterus that was the size of a second baby. The hormones created it. I had a c-section and my daughter was 7lbs 2 oz.
So funny 😂. Even more funny because I was of of the exceptions that wanted to have another one shortly after giving birth to the first one 😂. But after third, I’m done .
Had all 3 of mine at 35 weeks. My oldest was the only one that needed to go to the NICU. 4lbs 4oz, in respiratory distress. She still, at nearly 21, has many health issues. But my boys, 15 (4 lbs 8 oz) and 13 ( my huge one at a whopping 5lbs 5oz) did just fine and came home when I was released after c-sections (3 days).
Just had my little boy a week and a half ago, and I'm doing my best to avoid a second one any time soon! Not because of a bad experience, though... I was induced and in labor for less than 12 hours, pushing for less than 1 hour, and I had an epidural... but rather because I'm not in a great financial position and I don't want the strain of multiple babies! Especially since this one wasn't planned!
I wish it was that simple I was in labor for 3 Days 73 hours total nothing to eat or drink and on magnesium sulfate so I had a catheter while trying to give birth they're on top of it I suffered with grand mal seizures throughout the entire labor process so I couldn't get an epidural and the baby wasn't coming they couldn't do an emergency C-section because my heart would give out on the magnesium so after 3 days of misery I had a son three whole months early he was only 21 weeks he's perfectly healthy he was born perfectly healthy just small actually got to take him home from the NICU at 4 lb I was so proud of myself now he is a whopping 34 lb of a 2 year old he is absolutely Unstoppable
Our birth hospital had a "joke" where staff would wave and call out "see you next year!" as you left delivery. After my son was born midwives surrounded me and said, "You're not having any more.... *are you* ?"
I had my son last year in April and the nurse told me when i was getting ready to leave "hope to see you back soon" and i laughed and told her not too soon.... I'm due in October 😅
Pretty sure the labor is why I'm an only child. I've heard that my mom was in labor so long that it almost became an emergency because she was too exhausted to keep pushing. I also vaguely remember hearing that she had to be moved to a larger hospital in the middle of it.
My first two are ten months apart. I did not find out until I was at my aon's 5 month checkup and said I was super tired and a bit sick to my stomach. Found out I was pregnant and also 4 months along that day! Bodies are crazy as I was fully breastfeeding and never had a period.
That’s the difference in home births and hospital births. After my hospital births it took quite a few months to consider even wanting another. After my home births I start making plans for the next one almost immediately after birth!!
I love watching the way everyone plays from rushing through ballora to being extremely careful to grabbing the minirinas and slamming them into each other and throwing them across the screen, 😂😭
