A tip for a future project, use a primer this way the paint can adhere better, that is with a controlled layer of primer, the secret is that you move the piece to which you apply the primer at all times (slow of course, this is not sonic) in addition to applying from top to bottom and starting and ending in the same place whether from left to right or right to left.

Considered getting a spray primer to base coat the prints first before applying the paint directly? Likely find that the water based acrylics will apply better to a primed surface then the direct resin.
