When repairing circuit boards turning it over (Q) gives you easier access to the solder points.

You should have taken at tech tree the battery extension (do it soon)... one battery (basic modul) has low capacity, just one extension module triples its capacity (and is cheap)... you can have up to 5 extension on one battery pack... Likewise, transformer (ECU) has only 4 inputs, each extension gives +8... thus, allready with first extension, you triple your (possible) power output, which you really want. You could cascade your ecu's as a way around this, but it is costlier and more complicated... I personally recommend having one "free standing" solar panel for charging your suit and your vehicles, you save some "fiddling" with the battery/ecu outputs... Quite a few items in tech tree are just "convenience" items (there are other ways how to reach the same result) so if you are not in abundancy of tech points, try to avoid those convenience items. Like the battery rack (for now) gives you only little help, while costing ressources and spaces. Ofcourse, that might change later...

Try to get Jackhammer and Grinder to lvl.2 as soon as possible, they will make getting ressources faster, plus Grinder lvl.2 allows you to grind far more things than lvl.1

If you can manufacture your own ATV, it will be faster and more range than the found one (worn out and damaged)... extends your reach, which you need for getting more tablets... (or the technology to do overnight journeys - needs capsule)

I do put everything outside onto its own power system, easier then trying to get 10 power to the well when it wants to give it 11. They waste bothers me. I do prioritze tools. And i will skip the atv and bike and go for the truck. Far more usefull.

I personally hate taking down your helmet... sice in your capsule where you may do so, there is also way to fill any number of O2 bottles, the taking down solves nothing. Plus, you need free spot in inventory, AND there is good chance you forget to put helmet back on while leaving and instantly die. I am real avid hater of this "maneuvre", it is unnecessary and not helping for 99% of the time you spend int the game. There are wery special cases when it helps, but rare. My motto is: There is one special holder for your helmet and it works just fine. It is called "head"!

I think it saves battery as well as O2, as its not functioning as radiation protection at that point. I generally always have room in my inventory, i am big on inventory managment. Amd third, ive been playing Stationeers lately and your person gets unhygenic when in their suit to often, so you take the helmet off to fix that. But ya, i dont see much point to it as well other then id hate to be wearing the helmet all day

@@tristint.4857 as far as i know, there is zero saving of energy/battery. The saving in O2 is replenished immediatelly after getting up in morning, and the capsule has endless source (capable of refilling any O2 flask used during night). About the hygiene... well it is comical if you go to bet with (eventually heavy)space suit, but taking down helmet should considerably help in that regard??
