This is really great . Thank you . I do regret the years I sometimes feel I wasted but I also really appreciate the ordinary things others may take for granted like being able to watch tv or relax etc etc things I couldn’t do when ocd was at its worst . Your posts are helping me with my journey to accept life’s hard times and to take more risks . Defo feel my life improving , thank you .
Watching your video's have been so freeing in the "get to it" motivation approach to get better. One thing that has really stuck with me is the vast amount of different approaches/options you have talked about going into the recovery. As you say hearing the simple advice that is out there is helpful but you have showed all different kinds of approaches of recovery I hadn't come across. I think OCD can be a case of what works for some may/may not work for others. You are awesome mate.
Certainly there are many aspects of the recovery journey rather than just one thing that needs to be worked on. We also did a video on it some time ago called OCD Real Talk: The Toolkit For Recovery. You might find that helpful.
