Ocean Observatories Initiative | A Window into the Changing Planet
To better understanding of ocean environments and critical ocean issues the Ocean Observatories Initiative (OOI) is a science-driven ocean observing network that provides real-time data from over 900 instruments.
Its primary goal is to deliver data and data products for a time period exceeding 25 years, contributing to a better understanding of ocean environments and critical ocean issues.
OOI has transformed ocean research by integrating globally distributed marine observations into one comprehensive system, enabling scientific investigations of interconnected physical, chemical, and biological aspects of the ocean.
