Both are beautiful, my preference is the white rocks. The layering effect is realistic. Did you sand the tray and is it even necessary?

Thank you! I still can’t decide but I think I’m leaning towards the white rocks as well. For this tray it wasn’t necessary, it had a white wash and a smooth finish. Depending on the tray/wood you use, you might need to sand it

Maybe break up your beach line and wave lines, they are straight lines. It would look more natural with smaller separate wave lines and beach more irregular. Maybe look at some beach pics for ideas. Otherwise pretty! I like white beach.

Thank you for the suggestion! I agree, since creating these trays I realized it would look more natural if the waves aren’t in straight lines, I will try out smaller broken up waves as well 🤗
