Haha spot on review. A recent session with my 7M glide, I got caught up the river on a flood tide when the wind dropped to nothing. A nice neighbor hailed me into his dock/bar and shared a few brewskis with me as the sun set. Better than sitting on the couch!
I really like my 7 meter. I sail it at the in land lake nearby and have great sessions with it from 10 to 16 knots. Get up in a puff and turn at a place were there is another puff. So when you fall in, it is easier to get up. I use my 5.5 meter from 14-20 in knots. And that is the complete wind range we have most often. I am stoked about winging last year I was able to do 40+ sessions. While otherwise with kiting I needed to drive for an hour and did maybe 10-15 sessions per year. Loving it!
7:43 wow you almost nailed that shark! how often does that happen? I hate those borderline windy days where you have to hope for the best but usually end up paddling home. Good exercise I suppose.
