Five years, eight months, 12 days and counting -- that's how long Debbie Ocean has been devising the biggest heist of her life. The people at the scene probably did not have that knowledge/ were too relieved by the fact that the necklace was found to even think about that detail that doesn’t match up. Though it should’ve been discovered later on, so maybe let’s just leave it at dumb employees lol

The fact that they were able to strip the diamond necklace into rings, bracelets and necklaces is actually impressive. Is this a common thing if you want to keep the same stones but to have a different set that goes with your outfit? Like do you go to a jeweler and have them transform one necklace into a bunch?

Royal families and jewelry houses do this all the time. You'll see members of Royal households wearing pieces re-fashioned from a bigger pieces. Many of the Queen's broaches, earrings, necklaces, etc... are pieces of bigger jewelry or are pieces that can be re-assembled into other pieces, I,e: The kokoshnik tiara can be released into a necklace.

Why wasn’t Tammy questioned by the insurance agent? A real investigation would never just accept that the necklace was gone forever and only part of it could be recovered. Or that it was lost and suddenly found by some random party planner that was hired only recently
