Automating Chaotic tier stuff isn't quite as easy as I expected. But we'll manage. Now Livestreaming at: dw20.live/tw Follow me on Twitter: dw20.live/twitter
Keeping it stored as raw essence gives a false sense of quantity. He had a filled drawer but if he crafted it before storing he would have had 9x as much, and with the rftools crafter you’re pretty much only limited by input and output speed.
@@Dasffion I think he should at least have the requester keeping most of them in stock at a basic amount. I have mine storing all the essences at the farm, then I have the system keep a stack of each resource precrafted...as well as a sieve set up and what not
One reason is he never fully upgrades his drawers but to be fair he normally does not play a pack untie creative items and when you don't do that you do not need a a huge amount of stuff.
@@mrnice4434 Everyone should aspire to have a bananas amount of materials, all my drawers are full with 5 or 6 emerald tier upgrades, plus a void upgrade
Two things Dire. 1 - You literally read out loud that the chaotic tier weapons can destabilize the crystals with out the dragon attacking. 2 - Upgrade the damage modules, don't just add more, by upgrading them to Chaotic tier, your inaccuracy will drop, meaning you'll more consistently hit what you're aiming at.
Draconic is a mod that requires you to either have more patience than Job or think like Soaryn with ramping things up to insane levels. Why have 2-3 Powerpots when you could have 20-30?
Heh. I have over 500 powerpots at this point. I upgraded my power production with a Mek fusion reactor. Completely overbuilt fuel production (11 max size thermal evaporation plants for lithium, 32 solar neutron activators for tritium, 32 electric pumps for heavy water and just 2 electrolytic separators for deuterium) so that I could run the reactor at maximum injection rate. It's watercooled right now and with one maximum size Mek steam turbine I'm producing a nice 55 million FE/t. I can spam powerpots as much as I like. This is not my final power production, of course. My next step will be building 4 max size thermoelectric boilers and 3 more max size steam turbines so that I can export the fusion reactor's heat instead of watercooling. This should easily get me over 300M FE/t. But to get there I need way more iron than I have. I'm not even close to endgame yet, but I'm getting there, and upgrading my resource production seems like the first step of preparation for endgame.
AE2 does respect the order in which you put items in a crafting pattern. I've connected my main storage system which is RS with a small AE2. RS crafter puts items into chests, AE2 pulls them into the system, and crafting is ordered by crafting card in AE2 exporter. Items from the AE2 crafter chest are pulled using mekanism logistical sorters. I'm detecting when crafting has finished with hopper and comparator at the bottom of the Infuser. If you would like any pictures of my setup just reply to that comment :p Also, everything is hidden thanks to entangled blocks.
I'd add a couple more emerald storage upgrades on them drawers so you're never limited on resources. If the plants are growing, may as well be storing them.
No, he lost a draconic injector, not an xnet cable. He probably recorded this episode on oceanblock 1.10, which had a bug with WYML that caused dropped items to sometimes disappear. It was fixed in 1.11
I'm pretty sure it got vacuumed into the mob farm and voided - that's happened before, and I think he was just barely in range of the vacuum hopper. Could be wrong though.
If you want fast and cheap mana the Rosa Arcana takes Exp and makes it into a decent amount of mana with the compressed exp you got. You did a set up previously I beleive and with mob spawner automation you can get near inifinite.
I really miss restricting pipes. Most mods don't include the option anymore and those that do, don't name the pipe/upgrade in a way that makes its function easy to identify.
For the draconic crafting, couldn't he have just set his mekanism output thing (can't remember the name of it) to single output rather than stack output?
@@ethancatherman2822 That's true, but I realized this already, what I had meant by that is to slow down the transportation of the large chaos shards so the function Dire had applied would have time to activate and close off the piping. It would work, so long as the mekanism machine wasn't too fast with it's outputs into the pipes, unless there's something I'm missing
Is there some sort of pipe gate in some mod that will close after letting through a single item, then has to be triggered with a redstone signal to reopen?
I used full xnet for automating ... without mekanism logistical cables. Made 2 item channels for xnet 1 for all items and second for blacklisting items that get into the middle
called it. told you your draconic wouldnt work for end game crafts haha! you could have done all of this with xnet only. blacklisting the outputs and making the crafter block a lower priority.
idk if create is in this modpack, but with brass funnels set to accept one item only and filters and mechanical arms you could have made this draconic crafting thing automated kinda easily? Afaik brass funnels see the content of the inventory they are attached to.
Set the pipe connecting to the sorter to extract only. It will stop the rebound as it's will no longer be a valid destination, speeding up the crafting a touch.
Problem is if a second piece has entered that section of the pipe before it turns off, it gets stuck. The mod even has code in it to deal with that so it deletes the items otherwise you get a stack overflow error when it tries to calculate the path.
To change the mekanism pipes to redstone i think you need to use the configurator in wrench mode and rightclick on the connection point itself rather then the pipe or something like that
Yo dire, if you throw an item user from cyclic above the draconium seeds with a watering can in there, the watering can will never run out and if you put tick delay on 1 seeds grow almost instantly and its like 5 minutes to get 4000 draconium with a medium farm Oh also dunno if you noticed but the chaotic damage updrages don’t give inaccuracy so you can go full damage if you want
I love your vids Dire, but this is getting a bit stale for me personally with the xnet automation. How often are you going to need these items that it is actually worth fully automating
He could have just changed the item pipe to have more distance to the fusion crafting core than to the fusion crafters. That would have saved about 10 minutes of his time.
Wouldn’t it be easier to just set the sorter do the single mode with round robin enabled, meaning each inventory gets a single item. And on that note, wouldn’t it also be easier to have just lowered the tick rate from 5 to like 2?
All single item mode does is send items one at a time, not restrict the inventory with a 1 item max, so it wouldn't help in this case because it would send 1 item at a time 5 times to the same inventory. Round robin also wouldn't fix this because color coding takes priority over it, i.e if you set something on the logistical sorter to "prefer" one color it will always send it to that color of it has the chance. Also, 5 ticks is the maximum speed for advanced Xnet connectors
so does anyone know how to increase the claimed/ forced chunks in this pack? i need more for my reactor but cant figure it out. thanks! woop nvm found it thanks anyway!
@@SorrelYT The Meka-Suit prevents all debuffs from the water however, at least that's what I did in my playthrough. And Dire has the resources available to make one at this point as well :)
Dire says to himself, I wonder if I should get a bunch of the Hydroponic beds, I don't even know anymore. What a noob!! He could have 64 of them kicking out tons essences and using a 10th of the power of just 1 of the power pots.
Oh YAY! we get to watch another episode of Dire trying to figure something out. Like the last time 2 30 minute episodes of continuous fails. Dire, please do all this random crap on your time then spend a couple mins showing us the final results.
