Sister when I was in 3rd grade this dance was conducted by my school and we followed the same choreography, and as a student of class3 this was very hard but our dance teacher was so good she was so sweet and polite,I am still in this school and now I am in class 5 but that teacher has left the school and we miss her a lot😢😢😥😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I struggle with anxiety and whenever I start to feel anxious I listen to this song so this dance and this song just wow just wow. So happy to have God in my family and my life 😍😍😍✝️✝️✝️✝️
I love this, and I really never noticed a problem with the clothes (costumes) until I read the comments and a lot of people start judging before knowing and no one has the right to judge. If you look up the dress code for this type of dance you will get educated, and we don't know if this maybe was for a class and the choreographer or a dancer or maybe someone in the audience felt so proud of the final results and just posted the video, after what I think was a lot of work, rehearsals, etc. and was never intended to hurt or cause all these negative comments. (There is even people saying these dancers don't deserve to be in a church! Like, who do you think you are to say that?) Do you think Jesus would do that? I watched it again after reading the comments and I STILL LOVE IT, and I still didn't see a problem, maybe the problem is you guys and your thoughts and by the way, the dance is not even for you so why do you guys think you have a right to criticize it? God bless all of you. It really saddens me to see all this behavior from us Christians.
This is honestly beautiful 💕 For the few people commenting on what they are wearing... They're just legs. I'm a Christian too but I just think this is ridiculous. It's a dance competition, you don't wear leggings - just a leotard or dress! They're elegant and hardly trying to look sexual. If someone finds seeing some legs tempting then they themselves are the problem.
So impressed and most important - the conservative costume make each and every dancer so beautiful and admired for their dance moves in this performance. God bless!
I don’t understand why everyone is coming after their clothes yes it’s short but you guys are acting like it’s their fault if men are looking at their legs or somewhere their not suppose to look at if your Christian then you should know that beauty is not in what they wear clothes, jewelry, makeup but how they worship god that’s the beauty the way they worship god not on how they dress every woman is beautiful that’s how god looks at you not by judging your clothes but in how you worship him and love him and dedicate your time to him GOOD JOB GIRLS ON SHOWING HOW YOU WORSHIP GOD 👏
As a dancer, I can tell you they are covered in their costumes and they could be wearing something a lot worse. God gave them the talent to dance and they are trying to worship him through it. Most people get the talent to dance and do not use it to worship or honor God. They are only showing their legs, which is something you have to do in dance to see the body movements and beautiful technique/flexibility. If you find this inappropriate, you need to clean your own thoughts and heart.
hi Nicole, I just want to thank you for having the courage to defend us, even in the midst of lots of angry criticism. In the states, this sort of costuming is appropriate exactly for the the reasons you stated (to be able to execute extensions and have freedom of movement). I was young, innocent, and naive to choose this dress for our costume back in high school. In retrospect, I am ashamed of the sort of imagery it may have presented to those around the world-especially since I never expected this video to gain so much attention. I understand that situations are often invisible to others, and that people are only expressing their honest impressions. Thank you for taking the time to write your message. It means a lot to hear from people like you. God uses all for the good of His kingdom and His glory.
People are talking about the clothes but you don’t even know if they are dancing to God or in a religious way. Not even if they are religious. They can be just dancing the song that is beautiful. And that’s the comfortable clothes to dance this type of song. It’s contemporary dance.
I want to do lyrical dance but I don’t have the same shape as all of the other dancers so I’m afraid it’ll be embarrassing for me. I’m also afraid of what my step dad will say because i don’t know if he’ll support me.
Maddie Sullivan You do what makes you happy! You have my support, and I’m sure many others! Dance for life, dance for an escape for life, dance for someone (God, yourself)May you find joy through dance 😘❤️❤️
