It is an undeniable truth that we can never truly understand and feel their soul struggling in the cruelty of so-called "human"made ocean merely observing, witnessing from the safe shore of our homeland. But if we are human enough, somewhere in our hearts stirs and aches with their pain. And we feel obliged to do our best to express what is in our hearts in the most concrete way for their survival, and actually on the whole for the sake and survival of humanity. Palestinians in Israel are a vibrant part of the Israeli mosaic; they include cabinet ministers, members of parliament, the Supreme Court, Miss Israel, famous sportsmen, singers, just to illustrate with a few examples. I also visited Gaza when tours were allowed to enter. Of course, now Jews are forbidden to live anywhere in Gaza…is this “having the upper hand.” As far as self-determination, everything could have/and still could be possible if Palestinians had/would accepted compromise, going back to 1937. The latest offer (by Prime Minister Olmert) in 2008 for the equivalent of 100% of the territory of the West Bank and Gaza with East Jerusalem as the capital of an independent Palestinian Arab state was rejected.

Hello AD, where are you writing from? Anyways you remind me a story about a man that was walking and a little stone got into his shoe and caused him pain. So he was looking for some pills to stop his pain, like AKAMOL you know, and it is realy so absurd. Becuse all he has to do is to stop, and take the stone out of the shue. Do you think ocupation is fun? You think this 18 years old - that's what he really like to do? ofcourse ocupation is ugly. I was so happy when the Oslo agreements happened. There was hope in the air. We started officialy to talk with each other. but then came all the blown buses and it stopped. And now, listen to what the Hamas says: "we shall never recognize Israel. We want Jaffa and Haifa and Ramle and Zfat. It belong to us. Israel is temporary, it will pass". Really, as long as they rule in Gaza and this is what they say (and not just say, but waste money on missles and tunnels), there is no choice but to continue with this horirble situation. So the change must happen in gaza first. Dont cry about the pain, take the stone out of your shoe :)

Its a nice thought, one state for two nations but I dont think it is realistic. Its Otopic. We are not France and Swiss. I have just been there, they have a street in St. Luis that starts in france and ends in swiss and you dont feel the border. We are not there yet. Maybe some day, with less extreemists on both sides, who want it all and dont want to compromize.

It is a video that uses emptions and is basically propaganda, does not present facts, nor seeks to present a counterposition of arguments. It is aimed at people who already have an assumed position on the Palestinian - Israeli conflict.
What did you expect? A full and detailed description of the conflict that has been going on for decades in a mere few minutes? This video's purpose is to spread awareness on an empathic level. Many things mentioned are actually a reality and are known details within the UN and human rights watches.
