Cammie hasn't growled on an album before so yes, this was the first time this happened :) They've been of my favourite bands since I stumbled across them in 2020, their work is all great but "where gods" is an absolute masterpiece. It's honestly criminal they aren't more well known. They're so unique with their sound and unbelievably talented (and they sound better live!)
I can attest to this. I’ve never heard their music until just tonight when they, along with New Years Day, opened for Lacuna Coil. It was an incredible show and experience all around 🤘🏽
The subtlety and amount of quiet power in this, and the absolute musical perfection in this. I've heard bands as good but I'm drawing a blank on better bands. And if a measure of how good this band is, is respect from other artists they're great indeed. Vicky Psarakis is a big fan, and she doesn't give empty praise. Great reaction!
