When I first heard this song, I didn't realize that it was about God and Jesus. I just loved it, and so I favorited it on Spotify. Yesterday I was taking an online test, and this song came up on my playlist. For the first time, I realized how they were using the word Savior, and I looked the lyrics up immediately. I was so happy when I realized what this song was about. This is one of my favorite songs, and that made it even better.

I just can’t get over how much the girl with the braces singing is like a clone of the daughter I lost to parental alienation syndrome. I haven’t had a relationship with my daughter in 10 years, but the girl’s mannerisms in this video...her looks, her hair, age, braces, everything is identical to my daughter! I struggle with anxiety and occasional panic attacks. Whenever I face a particularly anxiety inducing situation, I like to turn this song on and God's peace immediately floods over me. God hasn't taken away/healed my anxiety or depression but He has endlessly and repeatedly showered me with the peace and joy that comes only from Him. When I can experience this peace, I can view my mental illness as a blessing. Yes it's a struggle but I am experiencing in excess the peace and joy only the Lord can give.🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️

thank you for choosing this song. It has special meaning to me. Thank you for sharing your talents and hearts in music to the world. I am a born again follower of Jesus and 4 years ago my 16 year old niece Makayla was taken away in a terrible car accident. She loved Jesus so dearly. 1 year before she left us she sang this song in church. The morning she was to.sing.this song I was scheduled, as well, to share a rehearsed song after her. Makayla and I had not conferred on what we had prepared. And yes, out of all the songs in Christendom, we had both prepared this one. So, the congregation got a double dose! She sang so beautifully and played the keyboard. At her funeral, I sang this song again...I could barely play the piano (my hands were.shaking so)... And when I hear this song...it reminds me of her..and faith ...and hope ...for there is no Other than our God. Blessings to your family! Blessings!

My mom is an Adventist and my dad is a Catholic. I grew up going to both churches (with my mom to Adventist church and with my father’s relatives to Catholic church). I was asked by my catholic cousin almost 2 years ago if what religion would I choose when I grow up. I told her, “I’m not sure at this moment. But I don’t think that matters as long as I believe in God.” 🙏🏻

recently I’ve been struggling with what I should do with my future. I’m going to be a senior this year and have no idea what I’m doing after that-what I should major in, what school to go to, or whether or not to go on a mission. I started listening to this song and before I had even gotten to the chorus I was practically on the floor, audibly sobbing at the strength of the spirit I felt listening to it. The lyrics that caught my attention were “you’ve never failed and you won’t start now” and I KNEW that no matter which path I choose, God will be there every single step of the way. He will not leave me. Thank you, elenyi, for this beautiful song and the inspiring message that it holds.

@@senecahouston1225 I've been an athiest all my life, up until a few weeks ago... it took a near death experience to turn me around. I know what you mean about how some Christians can be hateful. But that's not who Christ was. He loves us, each and everyone of us. He loved me enough to rescue me when I was dead in my sin. I know I dont know you, but I feel you are an amazing young woman. He hasn't given up on you. He loves you more than you could ever fathom.

@@StrikeforceJedi so true!! Faith is about believing in Jesus and we should never let anyone be the reason to distance ourselves from him. They may be blind to what the gospel is really about, but that doesn’t mean we also have to stay away from it. We can try to lead by example and be a light to others and “outshine” the Christians that are unkind etc. to show people that Jesus truly is good.

Try concentrating on what the Bible is actually saying. It might be fairly said that hardly anyone reads the Bible correctly. Those who have read it since children never think to bring their adult level of comprehension to what they are reading now that they are grown up. They're still using the same understanding of it they had as children. And when people come to the Bible for the first time as adults, they see the ones who have been doing it all their lives understanding it superficially, so they assume that's the correct way you do it. When you read something in the Bible ask yourself do you really understand what it is saying. If not, try to work it out. This can change your life.
