So, I'm 17 years old, about to be a senior in highschool... I turned away from God and I've been struggling with depression, anxiety, and a toxic ex. I didn't want to continue anymore and I felt like no one cared about me. I was about to give up today and this song popped up on my recommended and I turned it on and I just felt the holy spirit enter my bedroom and my soul feels at peace. I'm coming back to Jesus. I was reading over some of your comments, and I saw that you believed God doesn't love you. I want to say that just because you're going through something difficult doesn't mean God doesn't love you or he's punishing you. Job is a wonderful book in the Bible that is an example of this. It shows that God sometimes puts us through difficulties as a way to test us. Some of you also said that you feel as if God left you. Deuteronomy 31:8 says, '' The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; Do not be discouraged. '' It's a beautiful verse and a promise to us. Sometimes it's easy to feel as if God has forsaken us when we go through a difficult times in our lives- whether that be a death, mental illness, or abuse. I don't know why God has put you in the situation you are in, but I do know this for certain. God has a reason for it. When we look at our lives currently, it may be very difficult to understand why we may be going through this hardship. But God loves you, I can assure you of that. Jeremiah 29:11 says, '' ' For I know the plans I have for you, ' declares the Lord, ' plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope, and a future. ' '' God is not the enemy. You're going through this hardship for a reason, and you'll only come out of it stronger, closer to God, and better able to understand someone who went through the same things as you. I'll leave you with this last verse that has been a comfort to me. '' The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. '' -Psalm 34:18 God hears you. God sees the pain you're going through. He may not be answering your prays right now, but that doesn't mean he doesn't hear you or see you. He knows what you're going through, and He will do wonderful things with the situation you're in. Last year, I would not have been able to say this, but I'm grateful for what I went through. I'm grateful for all the pain because now I can better understand people who go through the same things. It drew my nearer to God. Just in case someone hasn't told you this recently, I love you, and God loves you also. God be with you all.

Id like to share my story.... im 15 now, through out my life until I was 12 my father had been an alcoholic and drug addict. Pills, weed, anything you can think of he'd done. Yes, weed, yes you can be addicted. Its different for everyone. Not everyone can be addicted, my father was. Thats the end of the conversation. On this day he got fired from his job and realized he wouldn't be able to get alcohol or drugs anymore, so he popped 30 or more pills and drank until he could barely hold it. He tried to take his life. God saved him. God kept him with me. God has given my father his life back. He's three years clean and sober and im so proud of him. Whatever you're going through, God will not fail you. Be patient and pray. Amen .

I’ve grown distant from God and I tried to restore the relationship but there was always this blockage. I woke up randomly with such a heavy heart for the past week and couldn’t fall back asleep and I remember this quote that said “when you can’t fall back asleep maybe God misses hearing from you and is giving you the opportunity to talk”. So I ended up praying as I listened to this song and the heaviness is gone. Thank you for this. I needed it so much. It gave me the necessary strength to push through. 5 years ago during my senior year of high school I was in a really bad place mentally and physically. I was addicted to Xanax pills and I started failing all my honors and AP classes. Until December 1, 2019 I got into a horrible car accident drinking with friends the driver crashed into a park. I crushed my spine I was a bone away from being brain dead. The doctors said it was a miracle I survived and wasn’t paralyzed. I lost the ability to pee as well. I had to learn to walk again with a walker and brace. This was one of my first encounters with God I knew he was real and loved me. I was depressed searching for a father all along when he was there he saved me this night. I’m clean now thanks to God and I’ll never take life for granted again. God loves you bless you all!

Closer to the end of this song again I heard something say look up and when I did I saw a beautiful white butterfly flutter right by... I lost my oldest daughter a long time ago.. And this past March she would be 10.. I see white butterflies as a sign that my baby girl is OK and happy... There's no way I could ever turn my back on God or Jesus❤
