In 2008, we received a request to play checks notes a touring Battle Of The Bands competition, sponsored by Jagermeister. We turned it down.
A few months later, our management forwarded on the itinerary. So off we went, somewhat confused.
First date was cancelled as someone had changed the locks on our practice room, trapping all our gear inside.
We played four or five of these BOTB Jager shows, and even managed to win one night. This was a true victory, as a ten-year-old signed band with three records available.
We lost the overall tour to a Canadian band. Five years later their guitar player would be Biffy's runner at a show in Toronto.
Upon completion of this tour I consumed so much free Jagermeister that I couldn't see properly out of one eye for two weeks.
This footage was liberated from an appalling bootleg available for cash on Amazon, in which the multitrack was curiously out of time with itself, and the entire soundtrack completely out of time with the video. Consequently the audio track is an audience recording.
