this is a dope video mad underrated. my thing with ocelotls gameplay is basically the same as what you said, since you do just stop when your chain ends and you have no real cancel or other advantage to get back into the offensem which is probably the hardest thing for ocelotl since well he only has one really viable opener in the bash and its not great. the hunters stance being a spot dodge is pretty cool but i wish it was more practical since the followup literally takes centuries to hit someone, way more than the reward would warrant. They probably should have made him a more aggressive bleed character who focuses on maybe a mechanic where you can cashout all the bleed on someone for a reward a bit like shaman. He uses a weapon famous for being insanely sharp so it would make sense if he had attacks that used that beyond the hunter stance attack (which hunter stance definitely needs major buffs and an actual moveset). Maybe when he is in hunter stance he can have a move where he drags the macahuitl across the opponent and it does all the bleed damage instantly and maybe does like a varangian guard style pin or a buff of some kind not healing preferably i dont think it would match the character and we already have shaman for that. the drip is mainly why i play this character although i do wish i could change the forced colors like you said although you can be very colorful with this character if you want i guess.
