Just subscribed. Heading to same area last weekend in September. Drifters is a great place to stay. Always my first choice when we go down there from Austin.

I got a little 16’ silverline Hilo v/o with 115 outboard. It’s a v-haul. I live in San Antonio and want to know if you think it’s safe to go out there. It’s smaller than yours

There are a lot of variables, your experience, your equipment, the weather, etc. But yes you could take that boat to the coast, fish the inter coastal areas, the bays and be fine as long as you watch the weather. If you don’t have one, I suggest you get a good mapping system.

Thanks, it is! I've been a fresh water guy my whole life up until about 3 years ago. But once you fish it, that salt gets in your blood!

I have a condo at sea isle village in port a. If you would bring the boat we would let you stay for a few days if you would take me out for a few hours when I am down next. you would have use of one bedroom 2 full beds and a bath.

Some cool looking fish you have down there. Whataburger is my go to burger joint when I go down there wish we had them up in Iowa. Would like to try that steerburger.

I really love Whataburger for a "fast food" burger place, but Steerburger is on a whole another level!
