I recently saw an OctaFX advert on my phone that claimed that I can make $5765 with an investment of $20 using the OctaFX copy trading platform which basically allows you to copy the trades of the established and professional traders and you are assured a profit doing that.
I decided to try it out in an attempt to verify the claim and help others confirm the viability of this investment. This video is a detailed documentation of that process which includes downloading the app, making a deposit into OctaFX, copying a master trader on the OctaFX app, and finally the results I got.

Copy trading is good but use minimum lot size, place stop loss (as many master traders don't use an sl) put maximum drawdown stop, some of them make floating loss of upto 70%, since they do long term trading. Also remember that trading with less than 100$ account is practically impossible to succeed since you need to put sl to nearly 5% of your equity in order to giver your trade room for volatility before it moves in your desired direction.

When people do something wrong;It doesn't work When it doesn't work; it's a scam. Be real man If u set it up wrong it's not going to work. And people make money with this stuff. If copy trading doesn't work, learn how to trade on ur own.

Yes he's right cause the first time I tried the master I copied made I good profit for me but they blocked him claiming that they're suspicious of his actions , I later copied another master and lost everything that was when I know it was a scam

That is because you dont have floating to keep the trades open untill they are profitable ☺ if he open 30x trades at 1.50 then octa automatically closes your trades while he have capital to keep his opened

Please all be warned...there is no SL option meaning that the master can be irresponsible and blow your account. They don't want to include stop loss

Is true at 1sth I made profit after copping another master I lost my profit and capital I started with 25d and made about 28.87d then ended with only 20.25d I think the platform is really a scam

1. OCTAFX is not scam at all. 2. Copy traders use big lot size so your deposit may not carry it. 3. Learn to trade yourself. Iearnt trading for 3years, I don't do copy trading, I trade well myself. Octafx pays. Copy traders are innocent.but most of u won't understand

You obviously have little or no knowledge about investing and finance (percentage gains and losses over a period or time) you didn't take your time to understand how the app worked before criticizing them. In case you don't know, they're the leading forex broker in Nigeria and a lot of Nigerians are making money from their copy trading service and that's because they first learnt what you completely ignored before making this video

I think losing or winning is very relative. There are OctaFX traders who give you 7 days for free before investing in real. Did you use that option? Also keep in mind that the Indian market is very unstable. So if you are going to invest in OctaFX by copying other traders, your money cannot be there for long.

You need to do more leverage and research more.....always use 10% of your funds to trade with minimum leverage......Its the problem with the trader not the platform.....rather mention the traders name than the platform on the title as its misleading

There is another scam, their bonus is a scam too. Not the bonus per se but the terms attached to it . How can u ask someone who invested 30$ with 10$ bonus to trade with 1.0 lots sizes?.. this means 4pips movement in the negative direction can wipe the account .. and this can happen in few minutes .
