Is it possible to use octane offline? I already had some problems when I needed to deliver a job and I realized I was without internet and I was unable to use it. Thank you!
No, you need to have access to the internet. I do know they have a dongle, but I don't know if it works with Blender. Also that would need to be the paid version.
Yeah you need the paid version then it's an additional $50 for the dongle. You can't teacher internet through your phone? That's the one turn off with un-free software, DRM getting in the way of your work :/
When I render as a png with alpha channel enabled I always get a white outline around my object. It's very visible when trying to composit something in photoshop or after effects. Is there any way to get rid of the white outline inside blender ? I try to remove it in post but it doesn't work too well.
@@Kamcio44 This guy is a educator God. This is one of a 4 part series which will explain compositing. He deals with alphas in this episode. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1WHq1GUejHs.html
@@finalresult3d yet another reason I love octane. Otherwise would need to send it to post-processing and use the compositor with a selection of nodes t0 get the job done. Just like "Rounded edges" feature, it's a massive timesaver.
