Let's design some sounds on the Behringer Neutron, sample and trim them, store as WAV files, and then assign them in our Octatrack Project to make our very own beat with unique sounds.
Please note:
-----------------------
This is not the uncut version of the entire process up until the final demo. The main workflow is explained in the first 10 minutes while the kick design also is explained in full. Other sound parts were shortened to a minimum for your viewing pleasure. The original session was 2 hours long and included sound-retouches on the OT using techniques i explained in other videos.
If you think i cut something interesting let me know in the comments and maybe i can help you directly.
Enjoy!

I’ve not had a much video watching time last few weeks, but good job on these clean Octatrack tutorials. I’ll be going back over them all again in coming days.

On the verge of buying a neutron or model d ...or both how do you find them

Neutron is the best of the two. The model D is a very close estimation of the original classic so if you like that Moog sound, go for it. But for a raw mono synth that can do a lot more sonically, go with Neutron. The MD sounds awesome, no doubt, but over time I got more mileage and value out off the Neutron. Proper envelopes and more modulation options.
