Maddy Tomlinson yes and Clarke I know she is not A part of it but I think that Clarke and Octavia are the most hated but needed when the others can’t handle what’s going and then they blame them for what they were forced to do or there people die idk just my opinion I think it makes sense but I’m not that sure
But like noone hated Octavia untill season 5. All the characters liked her until season 5 and what she became is season 5 is gonna take time to forgive. If the characters cannot forgive Clarke, then its a long way for Octavia and she started on that path, Bellamy kind of forgave her. All the characters are technically horrible people and do horrible things, some just take longer to be forgiven. And honestly i think they need more time with Octavia because what she became was not expected, they held her to a higher standard, because she has almost always been better than the others, so to see her become worse in some sense than them, shocked them. They thought Octavia was better than that, thats why its gonna take them longer to forgive her. Like they expect Clarke to do most of the things she does and thats why she gets forgiven faster than Octavia.
People who watch this show think Octavia got evil but I think shes just gone through so many things and now shes broken. Broken things can be fixed but not always.
She’s crazy everything everyone in her life is gone. The only friend she has the only person who cares about her is the one she fought a war with. Her own brother wants her dead now that’s tough.
I don't think her actions were evil at all - morally questionable at best (because we understand the circumstances); I see her as anti-hero if anything. She did what nobody would have done in her position and she did it exceptionally well, she saved many lives and that meant she had sacrifice her very character so that she could further the lives of onekru. Octavia is misunderstood and that adds a layer to her character that I really like.
It’s so true that Lincoln was her home. Like after he died, she just went downhill so fast. I don’t think she is a bad person, I just think she let the darkness take over way to much. But I think she is slowly coming back to her clear train of thought and is slowly letting the light in in season 6
It’s not fair the way they treat her. They made her become a leader and it broke her and now they want to throw her away because of the monster she became. They don’t deserve her
That's the thing I hate about the 100’s characters: they force their leaders to kill and do inhumane things, but they don't see that it's their fault too.

she watched the love of her life get shot in the head. Her mom died for keeping her and her brother shut her out and left her to die in the last season. She's not bad she's broken.She was forced under the floor for most her life and finally gets to go out and find love and then watches him die.

I think Octavia is the most realistic character in this whole show, and even tho I’m so different from her in a lot of ways, she’s brave, she fights etc. I relate to her so much. The pain the regret the love everything and it breaks me every time. O actually taught me a lot and I don’t know what to do when the series is over :(

When Octavia wanted war, no one supported her and it caused them to almost die. When Madi chose war the same episode everyone told her they would be with her the whole time and they were very supportive.
octavia is not a bad person! she just lost someone she loved so brutally and abruptly, (lincoln) and she didn't have anyone close to her to that extent after him ever again! everyone else closest to her had their own battles to fight and their own demons to face, no one could stop and help her through this, it's only natural she'd go south! she welcomed the darkness because it was the only thing that made her feel something and it also gave her purpose! she didn't have anything or anyone else that could give that to her, and others also kept pushing her to do what they couldn't and there wasn't anyone to put her in the right path, or tell her what was best! she was alone, she was lost, she didn't have a 'lincoln'. 😩😩😡😡😡😡😭
I love Octavia, and I truly believe that it isn't just her fault that she is the way she is. Some of the other characters should have a good look at themselves bc they aren't much better...... Abby!!! ( like u can leave now)
The lyrics "Call me friend but keep me closer." overlapped with Indra saying "... and I'm afraid of you. Of what you've become." with Octavia weak, bedridden, feeling utterly betrayed and teary-eyed ... Indra so solemn and almost resigned ... that freakin' hurt. A lot. Their relationship is one of my absolute favorite things in the show. I really hope S07 will dedicate some time to repairing and properly healing their bond. Gosh seeing Octavia in pain hurts me so much. And then you add in Billie and I'm just T_T
Poor Octavia. Everything she's done was for the good of her people and now they've all turned their backs on her, including her own brother. I hope she ends up saving them again and everyone realizes that she's not a bad person.
Marie is an amazing actor for Octavia, in many shows a character will experience a tragedy and the pain won’t be shown fr on the show because it’s fictional. Octavia really made me feel the pain of Lincoln’s death, as if it was real.
In the beginning I ask that same question to myself everyday, and every answer is the same. Yes. For me my brother hates me, my mother had depression when I was born and everyone hates me, I sometimes compare myself to octavia. We have both suffered many things, we don’t want to commit suicide, we just want someone to put us out of our misery. We are both broken. 💔🥺
She changed through the heartache and pain of seeing what people can become, watching those you truly trust, love and lose demenish right before your very eyes and I can't help but to think, nobody else excepted the responsibility of some how contributing to her change as well, thanks for this upload, very sad and enlightened.
"Everyone hates you right now, so what?" I love that line - I can only hope the writers use that line and personify that within Octavia's arc. And I think Diyoza might be the one to help her realize that she does not have to completely shed Bloodreina, because that is apart of who she is now, will always be even if she denies it. I hope she discovers a balance between who she had to be and finds Octavia again in the process. If she does reconcile with Bellamy, I don't want her to apologize for what she had to do to keep the consensus alive but instead they learn to trust one another eventually.
When I clicked on this video I didn’t even know what show this was about. Years ago when the show first came out I saw a few clips of it when my parents had it on the tv and I immediately liked octavia. I’m about to go binge watch the whole show :)))
Octavia is a good person, really, she just got lost because though her brother loved her very much but had a hard time supporting her and overprotective towards her. And when she found her one and only love, lincoln...then they killed him while she watched. It caused her hurtache and hatred including her brother's betrayal over lincoln's death, he caused it as well. she was just overwhelmed with hatred,power and revenge. She was lost after lincoln's death. I was just so happy that the real and sweet octavia who is still a fighter was back on season 6 after she faced her demons and killed bloodreina.
the 100 was such a good show and i don’t care what people say about her i know she is just broken and plus she was fine before stuff started to happen and now she is her and we should just a pereasseate her for who she is❤️

I love Octavia. She is one of my favorite characters because of her character development. Despite what she went through growing up, she grew up to be strong. She's not a bad person. She just went down the wrong path after Lincoln's death. Him dying was very unfair. He didn't deserve to die like he did. She loved him so much and he's the one that made her into the person she is today. I'm glad that she is sort of going back to her old self and isn't Bloodreina.
i don’t care what people say about octavia from season five she has 1000% had the best character development and she’s been through so much stuff you can’t blame her, after lincoln a huge piece of her left and even though she did a lot of really questionable things from the season five but she will always be one of my favorite characters
I love her so much oh my god. If I was half as strong and as tough as her, I'd rule the world. I'm literally speechless, I love this edit, the scenes choice was great and the song fits so well. I just want Bellamy to forgive her so she can finally have the support she deserves from the only person she loves that is still alive.
Everyone thought she was so bad as a commander, but she said from the start to everyone that she wasn’t built for that. She never wanted to be in that position-they made her because she won that fight.
People calling her evil piss me off so much. She did everything for her people, she put herself in a place she never wanted to be because she was the only one who could save them. Everyone loves to talk about how she did horrible things in that bunker and killed people, but without Octavia no one would have survived for 6 years.
The moments where octavia used her light and her darkness together where the ones that truly empowered. Like for example, when she won the conclave but decided to save a little bit of every clan. That moment truly made the grounders see her as a commander.
Damn, Marie’s performance with this character is brilliant. She puts so much work and effort into Octavia, if Jason kills her everything would be a waste of great acting. I hope we get to see more badass scenes with her.
I feel like octavia is a character that shows what would happen to most people the 100 acc happened she shows how everyone would change and go through different stages for example the innocent,the determined,the broken,the poisoned,and then the Guilty and emotionanless one I think we can all agree that we would be like octavia if we was in the 100 I know I would she’s a baddass
Octavia is crazy loving caring. She loves her brother. She has almost no one she is angry she is upset. There are all things you can see with her character throughout the whole show
my favorite part about octavia is that she always asks for a better option and NO ONE gives her one so she makes the best decision their is in the moment and people give her shit for it. like make it make sense
