October has been a rough month from the start. October first my baby would've been 4 years old. Then I had my birthday which was good. Then a week later we had to put my dog down. I know at least 5 different people who have passed away and with knowing of your baby kinda counts as 6. It's just been extremely rough. A lot of sadness. But I am thankful to have people in my life who make me laugh on a daily basis. Either at work or a guy I'm talking to right now my friends. I also received news from my mom this weekend that her and I can start looking for a house soon and we can finally get out of the situation we've been in for the past 6 or 7 years. Which is wonderful but terrifying at the same time that her and I will be home owners hopefully by the spring. Or early summer. So this month has had its sad moments good moments happy moments. And just all over the place lol. I am happy to see that you are doing okay. I love you sister and I hope you have a good rest of your week.

You’ve got mail was my mom’s favorite movie growing up! I’ve seen it more times than I can count. My parents still have the VHS.

If you loved You’ve Got Mail (one of my all time favorites), you should absolutely check out the original - The Shop Around the Corner! It takes place in the 1940s (not the ‘90s), but it will leave you with the same feeling in the end. Plus, the stories are just different enough that they really can be enjoyed as two separate entities! And as a final bonus - it is a great movie for the Christmas season!
