That was a fun unboxing and organizing video. I admire how you strive to organize items that best suits you. So many people want their Creative Space to have a generic style. I much prefer a Creative Space that fits MY needs. (Just as I do not want a home that appears anyone could walk in and live there - unless, of course I am trying to sell that house. I want a home that makes it obvious it belongs to me and reflects my personality.) The spool of thread is very useful for beadwork. As with wire you will eventually find your favorite. Once you are ready to start with yet another craft (amazing!!), you might want to buy small spools of different brands so you can experiment as you learn. Draw your own conclusions from your personal perspective. I was glad to hear you are confirmed for St Louis. Silly me I thought that was already in-place. Detail work can seem endless. Since your 2 events each year are so far apart at least you can recover from the physical aspects of those marathon days before it's time to focus on mass-producing inventory. With your recent vending successes it's obvious you have determined a great system. 'Reading and understanding the situation is paramount!' Obviously Von, YOU GOT THIS!!!!
Hiya, Von - always love your unboxing vids. The Dragonthread is best used for beadweaving. It is very fine and meant for stitches with complex passes, like peyote, right-angle weave, herringbone, etc. It's not great for stringing, as it's too fine. You'd be better off with C-lon or S-lon, or Bead-alon (braided nylon covered wire).
I use Beadalon Wildfire .006 0.15mm, no matter how hard i tug it takes a lot to break especially when you go through beads several times. I get mine from amazon.
