I am watching this on March 12, 2021. Baby boy is 3 and so darn adorable....Benjamin AND baby girl arrived in January (i think) and is so adorable---Samantha Grace. You think that what she is doing in this video is a lot...lololol She says she doesn't know if she will get everything changed....well they/you upped your game and own i think 5 more aces in front of the house and Laura and Aaron are machines. So beautiful and educational watching them change and grow. One of the best channels on youtube and one of the best couples with the best relationships in the world.

Darned it Laura! I have not been getting your video's on a regular basis like I used to. I didn't know about the baby or your 'day in the life of Laura'!. I usually keep all RU-vid reminders until I've seen all your video's, and was so glad to see you again today. Congrats on the coming of your son - and I agree with another responder that you need to slow down and wear a mask when using chemicals. I kind of have a bit of worry about you - so used to being very active on a day to day project. When your son arrives, you will have so much to do with him that the garden will have to go on the back burner for a while. I was watching you clean out 2 big plant boxes and your breathing is more heavy than before - that is going to increase as you get closer to due date! But we all love you and want the best for you - so, we'll probably continue to 'mother you' as you grow - and anxious to see pictures when he's finally here! Wonder how long it will take you to teach him about plants, etc. I'll make a bet on year 2. Again, prayers and the best blessings on you, your hubby, the garden, and especially the new baby! It's been a revelation to me, an English lady how much the US goes in for the Autumn (Fall) . Halloween is one thing but the Fall decorations available to you are amazing. i LOVE when you do videos like this showing us everything you do all day. its amazing how productive you guys are.

If you wanted to use a cleaner without chemicals to wash your pots, it's a mixture of water & vinegar. I wash everything from fruit to counters with it. A lot less chemicals and the vinegar smell fades quickly. I do a mixture of one cup of vinegar to 5 cups water but it's personal preference. Then put it into a spray bottle and start cleaning. I love your videos. I look forward to having my cup of tea and watching the beautiful things you manage to create. I have tried a few because you make it look so cool. Thanks for the encouragement!!!

Oh, man. Seeing the ash with all the borer holes is so sad. A few years ago, practically all of the ash trees were removed here in northeast Illinois. Streets that were once lined with them were suddenly bare. I miss the elms and the ash trees. Makes me think what will be next?

Lovely video! You sure are busy! Great collection of pumpkins/gourds/squash. I've never seen a pear shaped one. I really liked the tip of spray painting the planter to help it look refreshed! Doing so means a person doesn't necessarily have to replace planters each year. Also liked the white kale/cabbage. Thanks for sharing your fall projects with us. Blessings to you and your family:)

Technically autumn doesn't start until 22nd October ish which is mid point between summer and winter equinoxes - so I wouldn't stress too much if you still have summer pots and colours on the go! Don't stress yourself xx

Lots to do on your homestead, I'm so glad that we have all our stuff done and ready for anything has for has fall and winter. We live with 4 seasons and it gets crazy around here just don't know what to expect. Learned a lot from you and so far it works and I'm happy. Kinda funny that Aaron is hanging Christmas lights early cause my hubby did the same yesterday lol, he saids now we're ready for anything. And we did get snow here last week and melted already.

In a previous video you showed how to replant flowers for bringing indoors over winter. How do you get your Christmas cactus to bloom? Absolutely beautiful.

I saved our Autumn Purple Ash with Bayer Tree & Shrub insecticide from the Emerald Ash Borer here in Michigan. Treated it twice a year for 5 years then once a year after. The cambium layer has regrow and covered the damaged areas, and can hardly see where it was hit fairly hard.

Thank you so much for recommending the bulb drill auger attachment. We planted 600 bulbs, 400 were naturized in soil never dug. Wow, so much easier. Even so my husband and I were sore for a week.

The area that you want the Beech trees looks like a yin/yang shape. I love that you love the Ash tree! Its beutiful!

Laura, contact an arborist to treat your ash tree. Probably can't treat this year, but next year when the emerald ash borer is active. We treat ours every two years to save them. They will die if not treated. Here in Ohio, they have been mostly wiped out by this borer. Also nice to see Berpee sent some bulbs to you. I live just around the corner from them. Loved the video.

I live in NC having moved from Syracuse NY seven years ago.. What I am so delighted with here is there are quite a lot of flowers in the winter.. amazing... That was a fun one, like spending the day with you. You might wind up with some interesting tulips if they start interbreeding. The previous owner of my sisters house collected tulips, had hundreds of kinds filling her backyard. Now they are all interbreeding and new ones come up every spring. Also, it has ALREADY snowed at her house (Tekoa, WA), they are at a slightly higher elevation. I think we are in for a rough winter. We have roughly the same weather, I can usually guess exactly what day you filmed a video based on your weather. Ours is just a tiny bit milder, not quite as hot or cold.
