His camouflage at 4.09 is simply perfect and amazing. He has mimicked the Corral rock almost exactly in color and texture as well. What a wonderful creature....
@Stoned Prophet definitely feels threatened that’s why it tries to make itself bigger by standing high in its tentacules. And the black color is suppose to be a warning. An attempt to frighten predators
I watch this video every time I'm in pain or feel anxious and want to calm down Idk it comforts and calms me so much every time. It's nice that it's something I can always come back to and feel better
Imagine you were diving and there were several octopus all very interested in you. Each one touching you and one pulling on your mask or the mouth piece. Tickling your ear and wrapped up I'm your hair. Maybe one uses its beak to test your back and pinches around your shoulder blade. How many octopus are there ?
Watching this! Heck my eyes filled up with tears ‘cos of the beauty of this octopus and the fact that Jesus thought at creation 🤔 …hmmm I’ll make some of these! 😃😃 ❤ Just mind blowing! xx Thanks for this beautiful video! xx
Anyone impressed how quickly it changes color? I thought it was going to be very slow, but damn my man octopus right here does it in the blink of an eye.
Yep. I’ve seen it enough times in person. They can change so fast you kind of have to remember what colors they were prior to the Change because you notice it after they changed already. They also can change specific parts of their body as shown here.
@@matimus100the only nonsense is thinking such complex creatures evolved from single celled organisms that magically appeared from a puddle of slime one day on a planet that formed from stellar dust that appeared out of nowhere by an explosion that was caused by itself and manifested energy, matter, time, space and physical laws all entirely of their own accord from nothingness.
Great footage & a good song (for a change ;0). I have made some GIFs from this footage & will be on FB & twitter from tomorrow. Beautiful, just beautiful. Very similar to the first ever octopus sighting I had, but have no footage of. Thank you for posting .. & staying a respectful distance from the octopus. Superb!
This one is trying to be elusive. They tend to want to stay to themselves, they are not social in the way other ocean creatures are. This one is trying to escape the diver with the camera. It is a beautiful ocean creature. They are one of my favorite sea animals...
