Probably. Octopodes are one of few animals intelligent enough to require certain kinds of stimulation, they love playing, playing pranks, and risk-taking.

yeah this one time this octopus pranked me so hard. Was trending on octo-tube for weeks, i was so embarrassed- all those damned octopi laughing at my misfortune of getting the total hell pranked out of me.

Also that crab had room to maneuver and escape, unlike the ones caught in the trap. Maybe the octopus was just being lazy.

@@outis439-A Octo-prank channels have become the bane of octo-tube. They're all either clearly staged octo-garbage or just octopi being horrible and justifying it with "it's just a prank, octo-bro!"
