I think these took about one month to arrive in Pennsylvania after I ordered them during the COVID-19 pandemic, but I'm impressed with the quality. Even with the spacer, wearing glasses in the Quest wasn't comfortable, but these lenses make everything crystal clear with comfort. I definitely recommend them.
Hi, most people will not need the glasses spacer. However, the prescription adapters still take up some space, and it is possible that (depending on face shapes) the adapters slightly touch the face of some people. In those cases, the spacer is an option to move the adapters further away from the face.
I'm going to order mine today I'm just waiting for my appointment with the optician later today to get the right prescription and then going to order the immediately thank you very much for this it been hell using the VR with the glasses.
I just received these prescription lens for my wife's oculus quest. She loved them so much. Before I got these lens for my wife, she always complained about her glasses pressing on her face, especially at the bridge of her nose. With these lens, she told me it's a whole different world...lol.
Landed on this page from the Oculus Quest 2 page. The video shows install on an original Quest. The Quest 2 does not have that same thin black plastic ring that the OG has. Where are the directions showing how to do this on Quest2?
The Quest 2 installation video will be uploaded in the next couple of days. Sorry for not having it available yet! The installation is the same except that the Quest 2 does not have the plastic rings, you can simply put the adapters onto the Quest 2.
@@selfmadetray5836 duuuuude they work with both oculus go and quest perfectly!!! I dont vr without them now. The prescription is exactly what my eyes need and I havent had any strain or problems with them since
I share my VR headset with other members of the family in one session of playing.... are these inserts quick and easy to take out (and possibly replace with others), or is that an activity that over time will degrade the ability of them to stay in place (i.e. will the fix loosen over time with repeated replacement) ?
