I bought and very successfully installed the TWS coveron my Arsenal SAM7S . Mounted a Burris 536 with a quick detach mount. It holds zero nicely.I bought the cover from a 3rd party, lightly used.Your video allowed me to check for any missing parts or issues.Then, just followed your install process. Love my gen2 on my mpap92 & saving my pennies for one of these for my melot vepr74 but what I noticed is that's the cleanest ak ever. Dude come clean my AK's like yours. I specially liked the spoog towel so nothing got in the reciever
I`m not fan of cleaning every visit in the range, but when I clean I clean to the last particle :) Towel was used to not hit the window with rear sight base plate :) We love our TWS also, good and sturdy as new till today.

I love the dust cover but are you happy with the peep sight? I got mine yesterday and the peep hole seems to big for the front sight when the peep is mounted at the very rear, is this normal?
Got the same. I wanted to gain the longest sight line possible but had to move it forward to gain precision. Now peep sight is in front of red dot and works fine.

Ok I order mine but will it come with that pin thing that lets me pull the dust cover off? Or is that something I have to purchase ? Because the original kit just comes with the basic stuff
hamxham hello there. Yes the whole set od everything you need to mount and be able disassemble to clean the rifle is included. Only thing that wasn’t included is iron sight.
Well-made video! Greetings from a Warsaw-born Pole who lives in America! Have you experienced the dog leg wiggle at all? Mine is a little loose at the takedown pin area and I don't know how to fix it. I got a SAM7SF.
Thanks, Victor. Through these years I haven’t saw any wiggle. It’s rock solid. I think You should inspect the front and search where the loose is. Maybe a washer resolve a problem. Unfortunately there are now two identical AKs.
Ja tez mam dog leg gen 3 i ten sam ak SAM 7 tylko muj jest UF przy zakladaniu jest nie wielki luz na takedown pin bardzo minimalny ale przy zamkniecu klapy wydaje mi sie .ze bedzie to nie istotne . Muj kalach ma teleskopiczny recoil spring assembly wiec potrzebuje dodatkowa czesc zeby to sprawdzic . Robert z operator union twierdzi ze morze byc to potencjalny problem z tym luznym pin, ale na razie cisza zobaczymy . Widzielem na webside taki szybki takedown pin bez sprezynki ,tylko z kulka morze ten bedzie bardziej dopasowany kosztuje 20$
Keith Whisman as you can see in episode 11 we go into Magpul. The set show there is till today and we are happy with it. You need to watch out 'cause aluminium hand guards could have heat issues.

I don't understand the language, but the video is great. Subtitles are great idea too :). I just wondering is it really necessary to replace the original spring guide rod with that new one. What will happen if you don't replace it and leave original one in place?
I'm so sad you can't use original iron sights with this 😞 with fab defense pdc you can, but it looks like **** (too high & cubish). 😞 So I must drill holes in my ak and use side rails. 😅 sadge
I think that it's awesome how far the US and Russia have come over the years. In my childhood we feared nuclear attack by the USSR.. I have a photo of President Putin next to a Spetznaz Operator that has an AK47 covered in parts made in the USA. The operator in that photo had the TWS rail on it.
practicality doesnt know boundaries :) . if it works, who gives as**t where its from . my Yugo AK has parts from all over the world (israel included, and i really dislike them) and i love it. its the same with VZ58/858 and SKS. if it suits you buy whatever you want, disregarding naysayers ;) :D .

jogados Well i think the fastest way is to set notification on TWS site, other US stores also. Find company in your country that handles shipments(imports) from US and talk to them. They should help you with importing this stuff.
25 mistakes in this video number one.... its an ak and they suck. Number 2 use green loctite...number 3 an ak cant hold zero cause it sucks... number 4 7.62x39...number 5 way past service life...number 6 overpriced... number 7shitty trigger no matter what you do. Number 8 buy a sig 556 ig you want a slightly better but yet shittyh ak... number 9 buy an IWI ace 2 if you want an aven shitty version but yet ok but yet shitty
