When the bride stormed off because the groom didn`t pay her money before the wedding is the luckiest man on earth. He just avoided the worse mistake of his life. His fiance and her friend did him a big favor.
Everyone loves the misfortune of others, but hates the happiness of others. It is the character of a poor-hearted nation that has no desire to congratulate others.
Chinese need to stop that money money marriage. Only married for love. Not for money. They are not for sales. That becoming business deal. And no love. Only money deal. No love.
Let they do what they want. In the west we marry for « love »… how many divorces we have ? How many men are robed of half of their money ? In the west too it’s a business: all these modern women want a rich man to marry, no love in that.
Love has _never_ been what marriage was about. It’s also impossible. A crush is not love. Love grows from devotion and dutifulness, things that usually do not exist until you’re married. And even then only when both parties are devoted and dutiful to their roles in the marriage to make it work and beneficial. Else, it’s just bang buddies cohabitating and nothing more, not even if there’s children.
5:08 Trust the unmarried bridesmaid to ruin shit and try to demand shit. Because she is unmarried and wants to try have one last influence on her "friend" she can be single forever. I hope the groom and bride sue that woman for the cost of the marriage.
Chances are her Bride's maid isn't even married! She probably did that out of jealousy. At least the groom knows now that she doesn't care about him or his family. I pray that he gets another wife.
I am not sure if China is the centre of culture and etiquette. The drawing you see of well mannered China from whatever dynasty hundreds of years ago, are mainly the upper class and the royals. Singaporean Chinese are well mannered but you have to look at the history of it. Modern Singapore founding father, Lee Kuan Yew, admitted that one of the most daunting task he faces were not turning the backwater ex-British colony to the 1st world, modern and international city state. His biggest challenge was educating the Chinese, yes, educating his own race about etiquette. He observed how the native Malay are so shy and so polite, he taught the Chinese that. While at the same time he dismantle the fabric of the loud and non polite Chinese. He even make a campaign of 'Kampong Life in Singapore' to teach the people the spirit of Kampong living.
@@1.4billion65 As opposed to China being one of the poorest countries in the world with a collapsing economy? If the Chinese are unhappy they can move back to the worker's paradise of China.
Overdoing pranks that go beyond good-intentioned humor into the realm of toxicity and disrespect on a couple's big day. And those aunties could really use a lesson on public manners. Shameful.
The young woman allowed her "best friend " to interfere with a very special day! Her friend was very jealous that she WAS getting married, but now she has her bestie back. They can grow old. together
I am not sure what would happen at any wedding I have attended if 1% of these things happened - old lady walking in front of bride? She'd be grabbed and removed. "Friends" pranking the bride and groom during the ceremony? Jailtime. What is the purpose in trying to destroy what is supposed to be a happy occasion? This is worse than "Animal House".
There is one thing that makes me sad about the bridesmaid. The Universe has seen her actions and it has decided when and how she will pay for it. The bridesmaid has to live with the knowledge that whatever failure or disappointment happens in her life, it's because of what she did at this wedding.
Demanding a "ransom" for the bride minutes before the wedding sounds outrageous even by Chinese standards. That bridesmaid was way out of order, and the bride should've stood up to her. Even if the groom had that cash on hand in his pocket, he shouldn't have buckled to such last-minute extortion. As it turned out, he did buckle when promising to make the balance of the demanded sum up to the bride later, but the pushy bridesmaid saved him from having to do what he should've done to save face and his self-respect - namely, to withdraw from the wedding - when her actions emboldened the bride instead to call off the wedding. It's great that the groom belatedly realised that he'd dodged a bullet and refused to have anything further to do with his would-have-been wife.
None of these people really know each other. Marriage is a dedication between two people to dedicate themselves to each other. If you’re not willing to think of your partner first then you don’t belong together. Arranged marriages are not good but if both parties are willing they can work. Don’t let your families interfere.
This is not marriage, this is called a business exchange selling the bride. This is no difference to prostitution when there is a price tag. True love and marriage needs no money or dowry involve.
At the end this video say the stupidest propaganda about chinese culture saying traditionally, chinese value their vows etc etc Well the reality in China since the Han dynasty was for the bride family to pay for a man to accept to marry their daughter. Then the daughter belongs to the groom family. And almost uninterruptedtly the husband has all power, all rights over his wife. If he no longer wanted her, he only had to throw her out. Divorces were very expensive, and often husbands would kill their wives to take another woman. And those who were cast out after a divorce, for the most part, lost face, and therefore their own family no longer wanted them. They found themselves on the street, forced to beg or become prostitutes. It's only under Wuzitian empress that husband have no right to do that. But this traditional behaving remained until the 20th century
@@ganikus8565yes, but two generations raised by the lost generation who experienced great poverty and famine has made this aspect of the culture worse.
all in all, our wedding cost me about USD 2k, registration at the government office, then a small intimate lunch with just close friends and family, about 8 of us in total... we didn't see the need to spend so much unnecessary money on useless things just for 'face'. DIsgusting gold-digging culture in a disgusting cesspool of a country.
the guy who has his wedding cancelled is far happier and better now...the dumb bride and the maid is nothing right now...the maid made this happen because no one wants her and she jealous..
Groom in the blue suit and speaking his vows through a megaphone, demanding only two of the vows? So he must have his voice heard above all and has no intention of keeping all vows? That woman dodged a bullet.
My cousin Wang Suk Kok in China cannot find a girlfriend. He said he will have to turn on men if he cannot find a mate by Christmas. He is worried his fragile body cannot withstand the onslaught from another male. Please pray for his safety 🙏
That friend was clearly was gonna pocket the car money. The bride wouldn't have noticed it til the wedding was over and likely would thought little of it.
Whatever traditions are involved with Chinese weddings are ruined by these aunties and other bad actors that try to steal the show by rushing in front of the bride's entrance, they can't wait for her to go in? Getting on the way of the camera, demanding payment and other treats, blocking the road until they get something, even going as far as attacking the bridal vehicle. Maybe they have to start deploying decoy cars. I can't help but wonder how the bride feels at having her dress ruined, those don't look cheap. And yet, the Chinese wonder why they aren't really welcomed in other countries. It's this type of behavior, it's the bad manners, seemingly thinking that they have a right to do whatever they want. Like breaking cherry trees in Japan so that they can get one Pic of the blossoms falling. Are they no longer teaching basic etiquette? You see how the citizens behave at a community Hotpot celebration, or harvest time. The practice of gleaning is usually when the farmer leaves a bit for those less fortunate, not the entire village to raid the whole field. I don't know how these farmers turn over a product or profit. This is a bad look and unfortunately a bad time for the people. But basic manners and respect go a long way towards good will. Guess you're only taught by example and right now they don't have a good example from their leader.
I'm a reverse simp, I be spending all my money on myself 100% of the time. I can't be help with my condition. Just leave me alone as I enjoy my single life.
11:00 that groom was a Gorilla and the girl was too beautiful for him. He cant even do that for her, imagine what else he is stubborn about... also can yall edit out the mistakes?
Just use Christian vows: I take you …. to be my lawfully wedded husband/wife, to have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part. This is the most beautiful vow a couple could have. Besides, that’s in a bedroom, there should be no vow until it’s front of either a pastor, registrar or an official.
What drama, you children. This and that are only for fairy tale show which cost lots of money and all plastic tran tram destroy the environement balance😢😢😢🎉🎉😮
How? Do u even know what western culture is?? We dont give dowries or red envelopes and we certainly dont give crazy old women and men gifts for being asshats.
