Hilarious outtakes from the classic television series 'The Odd Couple'. Check out the remarkably un-PC 'spit take' towards the end.
This video is from the bonus DVD included in Jack Klugman's book 'Tony and Me', a wonderful tribute to his friend and fellow actor Tony Randall, as well as a bio of his acting career.

I met Tony on a plane, and it was one of the best experiences in my life. He was very gracious, when I asked him for his autograph, and I couldn't believe that I got to actually thank one of my favorite actors, for making me laugh all these years, right to his face.

I just watched an episode of The Odd Couple the other day. Felix came in to wake Oscar up in that filth pile of a bed room and found a half eaten banana on the bed. "Why do you lay down with your food? Coyotes lay down with there food." I am still giggling at Tony Randalls delivery. A perfect show in every way.

ONLY in your opinion, why do you think your opinion equates to facts? I love the show but am confident enough not to have to denigrate some other show to prove it, What is wrong with the quality of some of today's Shows, Like Monk, Two and a Half men, Big Bang, Mom etc? You may like the Odd Couple better, but that doesn't make it better, Do you have Kids? if so is one "far better" than the other? or do you just love both of them, even though they may be different? I just don't get what is wrong with the personality of people who live in a town called "negativity" Don't worry, be happy!

This show, that friendship bring such happy and meloncholy memories to me. It reminds me of the '70s, a time I was too young to really participate in, I was born in '70. It is so New York, it is so, so funny, so sincere, so hoenst. The friendship between these two men is so apparent. True friendship, a true love for one another. It seems like we haven't gotten anywhere. We keep moving into technology, into what is the quickest way rather than the best way. Love you, Jack. (Miss you Tony)

@@BrotherDerrick3X Yeah, she was really hot. It's actually an interesting story. Randall was married to his first wife for over 50 years, however, she almost never appeared in public with him, so a lot of people in show biz thought that Randall was gay, and that the marriage was a sham (like Rock Hudson's marriage). Turns out though, that the reason his first wife was rarely seen was because she had problems with social anxiety, or agoraphobia or something, and rarely went out at all. He was apparently very devoted to her though.

Nick Hill you must have seen a spot but the car in front of you takes it. Or drove eleven blocks from your apartment and said this spot is good. On your way back to your apartment there's three spots on your street. Hahahahahahaha. I don't get mad anymore, I just laugh.

Thank you for many years of entertainment, Jack. My favorite episode of "The Odd Couple" was the one involving the maximum security apartment: Felix: It's for your own good. Oscar: Felix, when I look back on some of the best times of my life, NONE OF IT WAS FOR MY OWN GOOD!

What a treat to watch these 'Odd Couple' outtakes. I remember watching The 'Odd Couple' in the 1970s as a kid, and now I have all 5 seasons on DVD. It is my absolute favorite sitcom of all time. Thank you Mr. Klugman for this video.

Wow. This is so good. Sweet and touching, great memories, two guys that really worked well together and respected each other. And the outtakes are drop-dead hilarious. It takes real class to be "dirty" in such a loving way. Bless you, Jack and Tony, and thanks for CONTINUING to entertain us with affection, charm and genuine wit.

I'm sure Felix Unger is getting the spare room in his apartment in Heaven ready for Oscar and laying down all the ground rules about tidiness to him as we speak.Rest in peace to two great actors.

Always thought you can tell a lot about the real personality of an actor by their outtakes. Not taking themselves too seriously...

The Odd Couple has always been my favorite show. I can recite whole episodes. Jack and Tony were truly outstanding and messed perfectly together. These outtakes had me rolling. You just can't find this type of comedy or show nowadays. Thank you to the entire Odd Couple cast you have made many people happy and have put smiles on so many faces.
