Yes! I would love a mode like that. I hate sticking in unrelated archetypes cards. Especially the generic extra deck one, kinda ruin the immersion for me.

man thats exactly what ruins yugioh to me. it would be good it was a few cards like in the old anime because it’s allows combo which is essential to make the game interesting but now it’s just too hard to balance. i like my odd-eyes deck with a red-eyes metal flare dragon lol

@@arthur5238 yeah i personally have a bunch of rank 7s in deck, like red flare or big eye. I've recently been fiddling with building an odd-eyes dragonmaid deck. I know dm is usually used as kind of a generic engine you can put in any deck, but the way you can make it directly interact with the odd eyes cards is really fun

Yeah, I made so many misplay throughout that duel. My winning condition was to set Wing Dragon in the pendulum scale but I use Lancer Dragon effect and instead ruined my only way to win ...

@@YGODueltainer sorry for being 11 months late 💀 but the reason why i love odd-eyes / yuya decks is that instead of focusing on "haha big damage" or negates they focus more on comebacks which is more fun than simple otk decks (or floodgates like timelords)

Yeah, so many negates. But I actually missed my only chance to win which is setting Wing Dragon in pendulum scale. I used Lancer Dragon effect to destroy Wing Dragon instead, but It didn't trigger the float effect and so I lost my only ticket out. Leaving only Revolution Dragon...

Weird realization that came up rn, This is your longest Vs video involving Master Duel. Not longest Vs video that I can see so far, the current longest Vs video that I can see which you made was Code Talker Vs Trickstar on Duel Links. I point that out because it surprised me considering how fast Code Talker and Trickstar duels go due to the fact that they get so much damage in within short amounts of time.

The DL ones are usually longer because of the voice lines. I always like the voiceline, really does make the duel feel like watching an anime episode :3 As for MD, its really hard to find a long and intense duel nowadays. People favors OTK and ending the game way too quick to have any meaningful duel.

Yeah, the boardwipe effect is revolution copied effect from the GY. When I said my winning condition is Wing Dragon, I meant it's pendulum effect. Which let my monster gain atk equal to the monster it is attacking, which bypasses the monster effect activation and so the opponent can't negate and I can destroy his Leo. Shame I goofed hard and lost my only key to win.

I remember once having gone up against some kind of Utopia deck that used some kind of boss monster with loads of materials that somehow copied Rhongo Bongo's effect from the graveyard making me unable to play the game.

Rhongo is a busted card and needed to be ban permanently. Honestly, no one bother to use that card, but when they do its always 4-5 materials which is worst than VFD, atleast with VFD you can still summon and stuff but Rhongo with 4-5+ mats is like waiting to be slaughtered if you haven't already surrender.

Before the supreme king starving venom reset you could have saved your pendulum summon no? You have the 2 cards on your hand which allows you to get the necessary things to do a pendulum summon and since you still have monsters on your extra deck face up, you can pendulum summon someone to do the last bit of damage

Nah I dont like running hand traps. Besides hand trap don't work very well with pendulum deck.

Starving Revolution wasn't quite enough there. I honestly sometimes forget that's in my deck even though it's one of its strongest moves. Are you aware of the fact that Revolution Dragon has the pendulum effect to destroy itself then bring back any extra deck dragon type monster from the gy? I didn't even know this until very recently.

Yep I do know that. People usually just discard to search but the Pendulum effect is also just as good. I think I only use Revolution Dragon pend effect maybe like a couple of times, because I usually went for Pendulum Hybrid monsters and pendulum monster don't go into GY so that's why its underutilize in my videos. But recently, thanks to the addition of Rebellion Overlord, I'm starting to use Meteorburst more for some fresh combo and Revolution Dragon has been a great help in making that happen.

Welp, I cant explain everything because its not like a meta deck where you just follow 1 strict combo into 1 final omni negates board. But I can give you some advice for this specific build. Pendulum Switch and Sky Iris will be your best friends at recycling and board control. My preferred go to boss monster are the pendulum hybrid dragons(your pick) because they can easily be swap between if you have Pendulum Switch. When combine with Sky Iris you can not only use it to search 1 odd-eyes card but also set it in Pend scale to use its pend effect and afterward Pendulum Switch it back onto the field if you need it. So the easiest way to learn it, is to go build it in a YGO simulator, if you dont have enough gem to build uit here and play it out. Trial and error until you figure out what each card does. And remember every cards I included in this refined Odd-Eyes has a purpose.

You could've won this actually! If you didn't pendulum summon during the turn you activated Supreme King Starving Venom, you could've added Arc Pendulum thanks to rebellion dragon and a lower scale (e.g. Persona Dragon) thanks to duelins alliance to pendulum summon Anthelion (or any other card) from your extra deck and swing for game! Nonetheless, this was a fantastic duel!

Nah trust me, I carefully thought it out that turn. Pendulum Halt lets me draw 2 cards but I cant add anymore cards for the rest of the turn. Thats why I used Sky Iris earlier to search for Odd-Eyes Fusion before activating Pendulum Halt. And so I can't activate Duelist Alliance nor search an Odd-Eyes through Revolution Dragon afterward. Soo the most effective play I can do is to bait out all the negates before I actually summon SKD Starving Venom for a boardwipe. Too bad the opponent had too much advantage becoz of his unbeatable board. I mean who can live with 3 negates per turn and a boss monsters that has 8k+ atk right? Its a miracle I survived that long, let alone winning it. Still though, I actually had a winning condition before but I missed it. Its setting Wing Dragon in pend zone incase youre wondering. I missed it because I accidentally use Lancer dragon to destroy Wing Dragon, but doing that didnt trigger its float ability to set itself in the pend zone so im screwed.

I've been playing odd eyes for a while but never used that card, I should've looked more carefully I'm going to go read that and see if there was any way to circumvent it but I highly doubt it, 3 negates and that strong of a boss monster is way too much indeed; also kinda unexpected, most utopia decks I've fought were never that negate heavy Also, if I can give a very small piece of advice, though I don't know if you can even summon it or if it would help supreme king dragon dark rebellion is amazing for dealing with boss monsters like that one. Because it's non-targeting and doesn't have any destruction effects it's, unless negated, pretty much unbeatable by battle and could've ran over his very well protected boss monster; that's right about the most I can advice (if it's even anything) for now, you played it very well anyway Edit: Read pendulum halt and, well, it really was just a very bad draw

It is pretty much indestructible at this point. And I can't even destroy the equip monsters. I had a way of winning which is setting Odd Eyes Wing Dragon in pendulum scale but I goofed with Lancer Dragon effect.

I don't think running Electrumite would've make any differences. Like I said 3 negates each turn. So unless I have some kind of bounce effect, which I don't, I can't win. Not to mention his equip monsters are indestructible and same goes for the boss monsters.
