In Hawaii we say, “Shave Ice” but this authentic frozen lusciousness needs to be shaved fr a solid block of ice n NOT Crushed ice (that’s a Sno-Cone). No one likes to crunch your shave ice!😱 When ice is shaved it’s gently coaxed into a mound, it literally melts in your mouth. Shaved ice should never be “PACKED”😱 into a cone or cup. My flavor of choice... Coconut and Vanilla with mochi balls, azuki beans and ice cream in the cone and sweetened condensed milk aka a Snow Cap on top. YUMMY!!! Can’t beat a shave ice in Hawaii on a hot, sunny day!!☀️🍧
Ohhhhh that's almost the same as es campur serut in Indonesia ( es is ice and serut is shave) we use red bean, Jack fruit as toppings but there is other toppings as well as jelly, roasted peanuts, avocado, grass jelly, sticky rice, and even bread it's very delicious but we don't have mochi balls :'( but it's still good tho :) And for the deluxe shaved ice they let u choose any kind of ice cream you want to put it on top of the ice

There's something made of SNOW and different flavours of SYRUPS made in India , and it's called 'Baraf ka gola' (Snow -balls) They taste so freaking good ! The best part of summer :)
The way I knew where this was when I saw the cup. Dude Bahama Bucks was my favorite place to go when I lived in Texas City, I like never see them anywhere, I miss it so much

That girl that order the SHAVED ice kills me! She is so happy she's dancing a jig, in a green dress! And the camera angle makes her look like she's in a circus mirror 😂 it reminds me of when I spent a summer working at Baskin robbins and i loved the job because no one ever comes into an ice cream place acting like a jerk because they are happy they are getting a treat.
