I clicked this video sooooo fast! Most underrated group in not just houston but southern hip-hop history!!! Bro I'm so happy you have them on!!!!!! I had a bigass smile when I seen this!
Some years ago me and my boys met Dev in the bathroom at Grooves. He was so cool. Had a chance to let him know that The Dude album was the soundtrack to our lives… especially being Class of ‘98
Met Blyne Rob at th J dilla show with Pete Rock Djing back in 2016 at The Continental Club on Main St. Cool ass dude. It was dope seeing him and N.O. Joe chopping it about the old days.
All them songs are classics and forever will be. Like Jug said I always looked forward to what songs coughpee bros will be on whenever Devin drops music
Super Big ups to @donnie_houston That wasn't the first time I've heard guests on your platform pay homage to Damien Lang, aka D'Latroi. If you knew him, you know, one of one. Shoutout to the Odd Squad as well, didn't think I could become a bigger fan of you guys, but I am.
I got a fadanuf fa erybody poster autorgraphed at their house of blues show a few years back Devin jugg and even rob signed it! I Need to get that framed.
Mann do anyone have the Odd Squad demo? Scarface said it was some of the hardest shit ever, damn near said it was better than the album, I been looking for it for years
Apple Tree Posse! Say if you know these dudes you are going to laugh all day. We used to skip school and go to the beach. We were deep. Jugg used to live in Broadway Square the day parties skipping school. We used to hit up the Uglies for a fresh paper bag dime bag!
@@donnie_houston I’m from Dayton, Ohio and we grew up on errthang Rap-A-Lot. I appreciate you King , I be wondering about the backstories and current situations of my favorite artists
@@donnie_houston thank you for this one right here bro. Fun fact: I met devin the dudes sister back in 2014 or 15 and she put me on game about Devin far as his music career and stuff like that. I think within that month I met rob quest thru her I spoke to him briefly Im sure he wouldn't even remember this encounter but I was brought to his house because she knew I was doing music but I was so young at the time I was like 18. I didn't get to see his equipment but he did have a big ass keyboard in his living room and the lady living with him was most likely his mom's, this was somewhere on Cullen maybe or close by. Fast forward months after that I was working at taco bell on Scott st Devin came in and ordered some food. He was solo solo that's why I couldn't believe it was him bro I had to take like 3 looks at him by the second look he was like "yea nigga it's me" lol I still have them pics bro when I come up in this rap shit we can get that interview going and I'll tell the story in more detail! Keep going Donnie you doing God's work!
Yo can you please ask them who is featured on the song Putcha Lips song on the Odd Squad album. It's a female rapper and the only lead I have is that it might be one of the Conscious Daughters
