When I was a kid I learned the "Phone Book Trick" (the old time thick phone books!) where you put the PB on a radiator for a few hours, allowing the heat to remove all the moisture (toasting the pages a little), making it easier to rip in half!

The Creepshow monster you couldn't identify was Jordy Verril played by Stephen King himself, and the two headed corn snake just amazed me. I'm used to seeing the taxidermy, but to see one alive in front of you is really something else.
