Oddly satisfying watching Veromessor andrei bring home the bacon  

Newly arrived Veromessor andrei with their nanitics. I gave them some protein and watched their reactions. The video doesn't show their initial reactions of running away backwards, only because I didn't capture it (otherwise it was hilarious). Eventually they figured out what was edible and began bringing home the "bacon." (In this case, it's cricket caviar.)
