Every single week, this remains my favorite video. It really feels like the art and creativity shine and that lets you see the love the crafts people put into the instruments in the collection.
kinda suprised the orange SG didn't come out of the Dutch shop. quite appropriate for the football crowd. especially with the Euro Cup half final coming up.
Without your videos I would have made a huge mistake, and bought a one of a kind mod collection guitar, that I'd be afraid to play. Instead, I got an R0 from the demo shop. I've played it more over the past 8 months than all my other guitars combined. I actually want it to age. It's great.
Regarding Mango SG: noticed Gibson branded pots... Edify: Why? Electronically spec preferred? CS habit? Just had parts bin available nearest build bench?
That first one confirmed what ive been saying for some time now. I just knew that a Pelham Blue burst would work. I was wondering if you were going to review the Jeff Beck YardBurst after having seen it on Gibsons site recently.
Be careful when they say "hand wired". My De-modernized Modern (mod shop) looked like Ray Charles did the soldering. That's why my wife bought those dirty fingers from you so it would motivate me to clean the mess up. Thank the lord I have an electric solder sucker.
Troglodyte, aren’t you growing tired of being on the YT mouse wheel just going round and round? Surely there must be something better for you to invest your time and energy into? I mean, how long can this actually go on for before you reach full circle? Just my thoughts for what it’s worth . . .
Have you thought of becoming an FBI profiler? Solve some nasty crimes. The FBI might question why it took you so long to reach your deduction and why you are attracted to him.
@@ChrisShortyAllen Don't worry, I've known for years, I've been trying to figure out how to rescue them but I've decided to let him know I'm onto him as he has now killed and eaten the poor soul he held captive for so long...
@@ChrisShortyAllen he actually uses the bones to make ivory nuts and saddles and then sells the on as 'authentic gibson parts', but yes he does save some little bits to snack on when he gets peckish
That Satin thing gibson does is just a cheap way to say it's something "Special". Those new studio's in Satin are ugly. I'm glad I got mine before they decided to stop using the hi-gloss finish
CALLING ON AUSTIN to mention properly the debacle a few years back of Gibson sending a cease-and-desist to Satellite Amps to underhandedly re-take the trademarks on the Coronet model! They had allowed the trademarks expire for some time and it was long out of production, so Satellite Amps purchased it and began producing their own as the then-lawful owner of the design, to which Gibson threatened legal action for their design and heritage being "stolen" (play authentic anyone?) Satellite Amps had no choice but to stop production and sell them back the rights as they were a small operation without the funds to fight back in court. This only happened around 2020, and I doubt many have forgotten as Gibson and influencers have promoted and hyped the re-release. I know Trogly is one of the biggest Gibson fans on RU-vid for sure, but I do hope he will do the good by the Guitar community and NOT sweep this fiasco under the rug. Keep Rocking everyone! \m/ to mention properly the debacle a few years back of Gibson sending a cease-and-desist to Satellite Amps to underhandedly re-take the trademarks on the Coronet model! You are not a lawyer. Trogly cannot possibly give a legal opinion. Satellite copied the model exactly by their own admission. Coronet is a standard word in English meaning small crown. No one can own the word. Satellite needed to take legal advice before copying and using the same name. So having a federal trademark is basically useless when the word is in common use. Copying the product is likely to produce legal objections. Do enlighten us further if you wish.
