The wonderful thing about it is these pieces of music are always played on the instruments they are always played on but this is differently unique. 🤗🎶🎶🎶🎶.
Haha....I saw Jamey Turner in Philly around 1980. When I saw him performing in Alexandria 30 years later I was a little frightened cause he looked like he didn't age. I thought it had to be his son playing!!
As a Chinese high school student, I saw his name in the English exam and tried to search on RU-vid, and this video really made me feel like the world was amazing
I don't know for sure, but depending on the size of the glass and the amount of water in it, when he rubs his hand around the rim the glass vibrates at a certain tone, which is what you're hearing. He could achieve the same effect by hitting them instead of just rubbing (though that might break one eventually). There may even be some amplification - like a transducer (special microphone) attached to the base of each glass - but I really doubt that. :) Hope that helps.
You can tell some of those glasses are not meant for actually drinking. He probably knows what type how curved large and especially how much water in the glass and I think on his fingers.
