These cover videos are my favorites because if Cascina wasn't part of The Last Of Us I would probably never know about her. but with these cover videos I think there would be a chance for me to know about Cascina. i have the same experience, and i believe it’s because she has listened intently to the song and recreated all the instruments, adding subtleties and nuances that you wouldn’t particularly hear in videos like this. idk who she is, but as a hardcore strokes fan myself, i give this a star of approval, i can feel the love for the strokes shining through
@@jepagliaro this feels familiar to Creep by Radiohead to me, where being out of tune actually adds something to it. I feel like I might be insulting her by saying that but I don't intend to, I'm sure this style of vocals was completely intentional by her. The way she sings it suits the song better than the way it's sung originally, I genuinely believe that.
