Please have her back. For me, she is the woman version of the brilliant Rey Valera in terms of being a songwriter and a singer also. They are not the "birit ones" but they're talent as mucisians could always launch a career of any artist and at the same time, they were the reason why they had their careers as a singers also because they're oozing with music charisma. Thank you Paco for having her. Please convince her to sing her songs there in your Paco Place live for us her fans. I hope that she could come back in the Philippines to write songs and interpret some too for us. The Millenials need to hear how to write a song and sing it too without depending on the accompaniment. She is one of a singer that could write what's in her soul without demonstrating it physically. I just want to hear songs plainly through my heart. We miss you Ms. Odette Quesada. The One singer and songwriter na intro pa Lang could make me cry already.

This has got to be my absolute favorite episode of Paco's Place. From just that's story alone, I think Odette is such a beautiful, strong, amazing, kick ass songwriter. Paco's questions leading the conversation was very well done and so natural. I'm absolutely ecstatic and glad I heard this episode. It's numero uno in my books.

i got hooked on this because of Ms. Odette Quesada... her songs were all timeless and I love listening to it over the years . My mom and I used to listen to her songs back in the days... very nostalgic, simple and relatable...I also love the emotion she put in every words ...her voice is so magical that i cant take my eyes off her kasi damang dama nya yung kanta... I wish there would be one album na nandun lahat ng classic hits nya.

We are in the same boat when OQ starting her career i was enjoying music of different musicians around the world BUT when odette released her song Friend of mine started my love to local love songs I am 60 now and still appreciate your good music; line in heaven playing on a karaoke bars with friends n relatives very enjoying singing👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👏👏👏 remarkable song writer of PI music industry. Watched this last night until 2am but couldn't finish it so I watched the rest just now. Few things I noticed, Paco is the real deal! He can geek out with anything related to music and has a very sharp ear! I also noticed, he's got a very broad vocabulary and one of the most entertaining host/interviewer I've seen to date! With Odette, I've listened to her growing up and been always a fan - but this interview even made me even admire her more! Her life is so colorful! I wish you sang all the songs you wrote! I’m a new Paco fan because of this interview. I super love Odette. But more than that, I thought Paco was an excellent interviewer. I loved his questions and discovered new things about Odette. I also got to watch some of his other interviews ( Fe de los Santos, etc.), he showed great interest in his guests’ story. Paco’s podcast gave me a new perspective of him. Keep it going :)

Great podcast & interview with OQ, Paco. I remember you singing at the pebble wash at LaSalle during break time. OQ is a such a precious gem of our music industry. Such a classy singer and song writer. Looking forward to watch her perform again after the pandemic. Classic compositions like Hopeless Romantic, Till I Met You, To Love Again, Habang Panahon.

I’m glad Paco did this. I often wonder sometimes why writers (of Filipino movies, songs, the arts in general) are not celebrated as much in the Philippines. It’s time we change that. I attended a screenwriting workshop in the Philippines before and the total disregard for writers is astounding. No wonder we don’t have a reading culture.

OMG Paco! I love this interview. Ka generation ko si Odette, she's just 5 years older than me. The first time i saw her on TV she was singing her song. A reluctant singer and an awesome songwriter. She's like the storyteller of our high school life! 😄I've always thought her to be mysterious & not so much chismis about her eventhough she's already sikat. I am so glad you did this, very open, its like getting to know her. She made the movie Bagets, our movie of our lives.. Her and Alvina Sy need to write again! I just recently discovered your channel & discovering these great singers & songwriters of our younger years. Its a blast from the past! Go find the 80s & 90s OPM singers. Nagsubscribe na ako!
