Greek Gods has powers of all kinds something Norse Gods didn't, Greek Gods can transform there size again Norse Gods couldn't, Greek Fates controlled time and all there destiny, again something that Norse Fates couldn't do nor have, if they did, Odin no doubt would of wanted and control it. Kratos fate was already freed after he defeated the Greek Fates. Greek Gods can live forever while Norse Gods just live very very very very long. Even Mirmir was suprise when he hear all the powers Greek Gods had, Freya also mention powers that the Greek Fates had is unheard of in Norse Realm. My main point is Greek Gods were more powerful than Norse Gods.
@@quitehat7819ee you might’ve had a point, but the devs themselves stated the Norse and Greeks are equal. So Mimir, Freya, and Kratos’ conversation can be interpreted like this; the Greek gods were far more VERSATILE (with the exception of Odin) because they can manifest their domains in the forms of elements and magic practically untouched; whereas the Norse manifest theirs in a more grounded, physical sense. You don’t see Baldur, as a god of light, pulling a Helios on Kratos, but he’s stupidly fast, for example.
@Da Python Baldur the Ultimate Tank - due to Freya's spell/curse, he developed an immunity to all kinds of damage so long as he does not get hit by mistletoe and even so his years of taking pain (without feeling them sadly) made sure that it wouldn't faze him at first Heimdall the Ultimate Counter - because he can read minds, he can easily anticipate every attack that will be thrown at him making him virtually untouchable but lets say they can hit him (if Kratos can then faster gods like Hermes would most likely be able to land a single hit at least), he still has access to time slowing magic and to bifrost that makes him even faster, stronger and deadlier if he needs to be Thor the Norse Version of Kratos - through pure strength and his Mjolnir, this guy can easily vanquish the giants which I can argue I can compare to the Olympians since both species have access to unique magic and power that even Odin envies and desires to have for himself and to think that Thor have killed majority of them is an amazing example of his strength, let alone him being able to tank punches and hits from Kratos that is usually enough to bludgeon or straightup kill a god while also capable of throwing old Kratos around like some rag doll.

Olympians strike me as more as forces of nature as gods; Poseidon = sea Hades = underworld/death Hermes = wind/speed Helios = sun Ares = war Zeus = Greek magic in general The Aesir however don't just rely on their powers but also their strengths and skills as warriors, maybe that's why they look more "super human" than Olympians akin to being more "force of nature/magic powerhouse".

Thor is the god of thunder, lightning, weathers, strength but nothing happened to these things when he died. But when a greek god dies the thing which they are the god gets destroyes. I mean when the god of sea died a big tsunami came and destroyed the world, when god of sun died an endless storm started, when god of sky zeus died entire sky started to tear apart and when god of dead and underworld hades dies all the Sauls of the dead escaped and bringed chaos to tbe world

I was tired of everyone underrated him that much and all norse gods. Odin could had won against Kratos and Atreus (Kratos was holding back but he still sealed them with a magic spell like if it was nothing. He only lost because 1 Kratos was holding back 2 because he was under numbered and 3 which is also the greatest reason he lost control and let his anger out wich was his weakness. Odin is clever and has immense knowlegde. When he went angry he lost normal reason and while he could have normally plan a way out of this he didn't think and went in direct fight wich caused his lost.
Y’know, even if Odin DOES lose to Zeus and Kratos, it’s still pretty badass that he could defeat pretty much all of the Greek Pantheon. Honestly, he’s easily one of the best antagonists in the series for me.

The thing is, Ares isn't really a God of War like Odin is. Ares is more the God of Bloodlust in that he represents the horrors and atrocities of war. Odin, however, is a God of War in the sense he's smart and strategic and how he represents strategy with all his knowledge. In the end, I think he does win battle iq.
Odin is stronger than he looks y'all forgot how he threw the ridiculously heavy mjolnir with no effort, though we did not see much of odin lifting it, it still makes sense how he is physically stronger than most of these gods
Well tbh Thrudd picked it up too and flew with no training after Ragnarok. You can easily pick up Mjolnir for as long as it doesn't have a current owner and you're a norse god (I think)
@@holneer Makes sense considering Kratos was able to only catch it and stop it from moving, but was not able to use it, yet Odin and Thurdd who should be physically weaker than Kratos weilded it like any normal weapon

@@YisusTV556 Kratos couldn't move grab and move Mjolnir after Thor had thrown it and was possibly controlling it. Maybe it's related to family or something but I doubt it since that clarification was never made.

Odin can definitely do good against the Greek Pantheon. His quest for knowledge would make him transform into one of the Greek gods to fool Olympus, ESPECIALLY when the Greek gods are mainly impulsive, and prone to manipulation, (except for a few, like Athena).
Odin at his prime(Ymir times) would get bodied every single God here. He was barely a fraction as wise as he is now. He doesn't have access to runes(basically carvings that give buffs), and so doesn't have as much spells either.
kratos would mid diff, he was literally holding while fighting odin in the finally if he wasn't then he would've been screaming Odin's name every few seconds 🗿

No one considers Odin's feat to fight bravely against Freya (full power), Atreus and Kratos (the same one who held back against Thor full rage in the final fight and won).
@@user-pm9ev3up5t again, developers never say that, not even use percentages or that "1/3" crap. Kratos and Thor were only holding back in the first fight, Kratos lost control when Thor spoke of Atreus, the same situation as Baldur in the first fight. Not to mention Thor was unbelievable that this was even the God who defeated his sons, Sigrun and Baldur and even called that Kratos a "weak version".
Don't forget that zeus has killed kratos but kratos would return again and again yk how strong is kratos infact he also killed thanatos (God of death) that brings zeus to be one of the great antagonist and quiet difficult to defeat although odin is also very powerful but i dont think odin defeats zeus its alsk cuz zeus wipped the titans wkth single wipe of sword zeus is just fucking badass
Guys, you must understand that it not because norse gods don't look fashion or "cool" like greek gods that they are least powerful. It just that they act like kratos in some way, don't need to show all their powers, they allready know they are strong. Like , imagine if Tyr make his hair burning like ares...greek gods are just little Kids who love attention
Kratos would have died to Zeus if it wasn't for Power of Hope. And Kratos would have died to Odin if it wasn't for Freya. Yes, Suck it Gow fan's Kraros loses to both Odin and Zeus. Only plot armor saved him against these two.
@@Thegodsworshipper13574 it's not very fast but I wouldn't say slow like man can travel from one end of the universe to other within 5 secs with his ravens also he has an invincibility ability for a short while like in the boss fight when he is in evade mode he sort of becomes like a black cloak and flies around taking 0 damage
