Put a rotary bearing (or set of spacers) between the handle plate and the barrel plate. Put a pulley groove in the barrel plate. Carve out space for a fan motor in the "motor" housing, and use a belt of some sort.

@@YGOrochi You'd be really surprised. I designed a 3d printed version of this. A static version, and a moving version. Adding motors, wheels, and batteries to the inside where your hand is supposed to fit is very difficult.

Don't get me wrong, Barrett's basic gun is nice, but I would like to see Odin make his Big Bertha. His Big Bertha is what I currently use for my current playthroughs for FF7 Remake.

D&D Maps you can get Floormat foam at Hardware stores, but you can get REALLY good cheap foam of the same thickness at micheals. They also have heat guns, dremels, thinner foam, worbla,foam clay, and Plaid FX paint.

lol i love the i wana see it rotate comment, just make it out of steel next time, spring load the magazine so it can auto feed real bullets put a shock absorber in so you dont get any recoil then improve upon the game by making silencers for it and then i suppose a laser targeter couldnt hurt you of course can decide on the caliber of the bullets but 9mm minimum id say EDIT it would probably only have 1 fireing pin so it would need to rotate im afraid :)

Beautiful build as always and I wouldn't mind seeing the BFG from DOOM lol or as always anything Mega Man related. Or another facemask from Marvel, Winter Soldier's or an Iron Man themed mask like the Black Panther one you made.

An awesome build! one little tip about the Harbor Freight cheepy flash lights, the cap from a 16oz Safeway or store brand water bottle snaps on to the end and makes for a great diffuser!

The sword Auron gives to Tidus at the beginning of the game seems doable. But given its shape, I don't think it's usrful for battle. Maybe it is? It's kinda like a weird khopesh type deal.

Yes, sintra. But apparently there are other manufactures, so foamed PVC sheet is the correct "non sponsored" term! :)

I dont wanna be that guy but... I feel like you could have easily 3d printed some gears and a bushing so you could make the barrels actually spin using a motor hidden in the arm cuff and still had it come apart.

I find Barret's Arm impractical but depending on the Ammunition, Nerf Darts, Paintballs, Water Beads, Plastic Airsoft BBs, Gatling Arms could provide some measure of Shooting Potential for Prosthethic Arms users.

fun! have you tried using powdered graphite? Happy Trooper youtube has a video about making it look like metal, by using just graphite powder, (found in the lock/key section of a hardware store) works like a dream, nice work Odin!

You could make Vincent Valentine's ultimate weapon, Death Penalty for a small weapon. Or one of Red XIII's weapons, as I'm pretty sure they are all hair accessories of some sort. It has been a while since I've played.

A way to make the 'materia' more interesting; Using crinkled clear plastic, and a flashlight that can change between dark green, red, purple, light blue, and yellow. For each of the 5 types.
