great video! It worked for a day and stopped again. I took it apart and I striped some speaker wire. I used the plastic wire cover as a bushing on both rods on the gears to make a tight fit with the plastic cover it works great now.
Much thanks saved my ass. Difficult get out of dash. Good tip on the copper bushing. It’s important to line up metal rods carefully that the gears ride on.from the looks it this job had been done before as screws were missing.
