I know how much people love ODST and I’ve seen people get so discouraged from the visor alone in the past. It really stopped them from making the costume altogether. Which really sucked to see.
@@There_Is_No_War_In_Ba_Sing_Se I don’t think there is one that is made specifically for your head size, the visor shape, and one that fits the odst helmet
Yeah I love this, I really hate people showing "easy and cheap" ways to make visors and then whip out a vacuum machine. Like I don't have room or money to build this!
Thanks man! Very kind of you to say that. This is probably my top 5 favorite armors. I’m gonna making the suit again on my own time and not desert or any kind of color scheme this time. Just going to do the actual colors.
“Not exactly green no ODST is but if I didn’t think he could do the job I wouldn’t have him on my six he doesn’t say much but I don’t care I just need him to listen” -Edward Buck
You sir are legendary for posting those templates free. Like what the heck, that’s so cool of you. I’m attempting to build this out of aluminum and welded together for my own channel. You’ll be credited, of course, and linked because everyone needs to know what a Chad you are.
Dang I wish I had a heat gun, tried scoring my ODST smg using a lighter and while it did score some lines I ended up with a few burn marks. Still I’m going to try to get all the materials for this and try to find other alternatives for the spinning tool, heat gun and water spraying thingy.
Use a blow dryer on Max heat! Hold it close to your surface and if you have a funnel extension that helps even more. That’s what I do at least and it works quite well for novice work
Thank you so much for the tetorial. I am currently building the helmet and have/am only strugeling a bit how and where to bevel or leave extra foam for the other pieces to sit on it. But apart from that it is very easyly to understand the process. I hope (when it is finished) it makes a good replacement for my old helmet.
looks great. I too had problems with foam. getting better all the time. I am in the middle of a mando helmet(s). Building one out of foam and 3d printed one . Kind of a which is better thing.
The Doomslayer helmet. I didn’t get the shape right the first time. I have to model the helmet to the game proportions, as the game file is just too high poly to use for foam. I’m at the point where if I want to make the full Cosplay, I might just print the helmet or sculpt it with my lifecast myself. I just want another stab at it on my own time offline.
Bro, nice video I enjoyed it slot and in the future I would really love to make my own cosplay armour thank you for educating us and keep it up the good work !👍👍👍
Listen to the video intro. I linked a beginner video tutorial on the Pepakura foam cosplay building system and how to learn the techniques and how apply them to all builds. It’s on my channel and on my website where you downloaded the template from.
Oh man, such a really great work, i'm so SO excited to start my helmet. It's the first video i watch from you and i want to stay and watch more. Like and sub my friend, so really good!
As awesome as Spartans are. ODSTs are the coolest, awesomest, badassest characters ever. 343/ Microsoft needs to make a whole franchise based on just ODSTs.
The skill on how to bevel, when to bevel and what kind of bevel was taught in the Pepakura Foam building tutorial I mentioned in the intro to this video. I build everything the same way every time. It’s up to you to listen and follow that tutorial closely and apply those techniques to other Pepakura foam files. 😎👍🏻
This is not a beginner project. You need to start with something simpler to understand the concepts and gain confidence. Have you watched this? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vRrfclFDiS0.html
@@Heroesworkshop Hola desde México!!! En tu tienda puedo adquirir todos los planos en PDF para el cosplay completo, es correcto? Me interesa comprar para la próxima comic
Can someone explain how you can make Spartan armor out of foam because I want to make my own Spartan armor so can someone tell me how to and where can you get foam
The keep building mantra at the end is true!! Even though I built the first Gray Fox helmet wrong, I am proud of how it turned out, more so than my second attempt lol. But it’s all due to Stealth and his amazing templates!! I now have to add this helmet to my ever growing build list lol.
Your first attempt at that was great man. You definitely have the idea. You are getting the eye for when to cut bevels and when and which one. Keep at it. You can eventually build anything without really thinking too much about it.
It's amazing! Do you think you can make a pepakura out of Noble Six's armor? I would like to buy the template. It is my favorite character and armor from Halo and I would like very much if you could make a pepakura of it, I will buy it with pleasure
keep it down mom .lol .. loving the channel ,the entertaining way you do these tutorials makes me smile , i'm just surprised the ''likes'' aren't in the thousands?
Glad you liked it. The goal is to always try to make things accessible. Unless it’s for a personal passion project, I’ll have to flaunt what I can do for my own personal goal. 😎
AAAAHHHHHH!!!! IM SO HAPPY YOU MADE THIS VIDEO!! I have been planning to make an ODST cosplay for many, many years now and never know how it was all made without the use of a lot of equipment. Definitely going to give this a try! Again, Thank you so much!!
