Great bike and a video. I have been trying to get one for a while but no shop has it. Anyways, thanks for the video and be safe out there!

I bought this kind of "spoiler" first week of owning T7, october 2019... This aftermarket part is very well known! Glad you made the same experience! Tipp: slow conditions like longer offroad, take it off! Cheers & good luck!

Thank you for the video. I am 2m tall too and I am wondering how did you adjust your position on the bike. I think you have the rally seat (I don't) but did you consider also bar risers and lower foot pegs? With the standard seat my legs are bent way too much.

For tall guys like us every bike is too small 😂... Honestly I haven't done anything to mine to make it more ergonomic. My legs are also quite bent but the rally seat helps I think (the rally seat came standard on the Rally edition). I consider getting some lower pegs, but I'm not sure about the bar raisers. My main issue is off road when standing up. I have to lift my legs from the pegs to change gears or brake and that shifts the weight so much it makes the bike unstable. I will keep you updated with a video when I get to solving this problem!

I love the video ,and I are you still using the Add on screen I have tried the alt-rider adjustable screen Reiser with is rubbish. I am 6,1 and I’m about to order Yamaha Add on screen would you still recommend? Like you said I would only use it for motorway, work then take off .I like the look of the original screen. Does it leave any marks on the screen OEM screen after it’s been taken off? Thanks Paul

I would recommend. Make sure you tighten it well as it may want to fly off on bumpy off-road surfaces. It does leave a small mark but it rubs off easily. Just a heads up, it may be less useful and effective than you think, but it does certainly help. Its not as effective as a taller and wider windshield.

Hey, did you consider the adjustable adapter for the original screen from Touratech?
@gravelroadslovenia
@gravelroadslovenia 2 года назад
Honestly I have thought about it but decided not to get it. My main concern is, when you lift the windscreen the air won't hit from the top, but will flow from below which could be even worse. There is a similar issue with the Honda Africa Twin where air flows from the front fender up by the suspension and hits you right in the chin, causing the helmet to shake. I could be completely wrong of course 😂, but thats my theory...

As a 193 cm tall rider, I ordered the Givi windshield today. It looks kind of funny but I hope it will do the job.

It will probably do a better job! What I have realized a few days ago is that wind can be a very good thing during these very warm summer days!

I am 1.84m, no problems with wind hitting me, but have problem with wind noise, its unbearable at higher speeds. Any expierience with that, does this help? Thanks!

I wouldn't know. I assume you would need a wider windscreen to eliminate the wind noise. The helmet is also something to look into. Schuberth are known to be the quietest. Otherwise, I use a set of Motosafe Tour earplugs made by Alpine. These are known to be one of the best, I strongly recommend them. www.alpinehearingprotection.com/products/motosafe-tour

Just bought the OEM add on screen. Was it hard for you to make the clips fit to the orginal screen? Did you have to tighten the screws very hard? I have problems getting the clips to attach to the screen without it being loose.

I know exactly what you are talking about because I had the same dilemma... What I did was screw them in more than I thought was "ok" while still leaving enough play to prevent damaging the big windscreen. I haven't had any problems with it detaching or moving since, even at high highway speeds or proper offroad. I hope this helps!

Have you tried a smaller screen or cutting it down sometimes that can be cleaner air
