Eu gosto mais de Jodel à moda antiga (tipo Uschi Bauer), mas entendo que se os jovens não se interessarem pelo estilo, logo essa será uma tradição morta. Por outro lado, é possível continuar a tradição sem alterá-la tanto. Ursprung Buam faz isso melhor que Melanie Oesch. O Jodel dos Die Dritten algumas vezes é muito barulhento, moderninho demais. Perde em beleza e nostalgia. Parece mais rock que Jodel. Muito descaracterizado!

Cultural intermediaries like the Oesch‘s do not only lead away from tradition, they also bring people to it. And the Oesch‘s admit that their style is not traditional but something in-between traditional and Schlager music. I cannot say what is bigger in your terms: damage or benefit. Let’s enjoy our freedom of choice.
