Exactly, Rhinos are under great duress, & thousands of species which have been around for millions of years are about to go extinct. This is something I want to prevent at all costs. Just raise awareness about our endangered friends-- most of the current slayings are for medicinal horns... But the situation is dire, long live the rhinos!

thousands of species already went extinct before humans even existed. you also conveniently not mentioning the fact that every day scientists discover many new unknown species of animals. Furthermore the so called "duress" of rhinos is grosely exagerated and it is absolutely not dire.

@@Herr_Flick_of_ze_Gestapo That scientists are "discovering" new species is a complete red herring.

@@Herr_Flick_of_ze_Gestapo Further more, while animals have gone and continue to go extinct, I believe that collectively, those of us who are of the opinion that man-influenced extinction is a dire and pressing meet are not going to be compelled to abandon advocacy of the environments, species, and climate because someone on the internet doesn't think they should really matter, because "why postpone the inevitable." I don't think we have any right to decide that, and it is arrogant of you to think that we have garnered that entitlement over the habitats that have nourished and supported their populations for millennia.

I wish they would destroy them on public television. Here are the numbers of rhino poaching since just 2007: 2007, 13 poached; 2008, 83; 2009, 122; 2010, 333; 2011, 448; 2012, 668, & 587 in 2013 to date!! We have to send a message to the world that we value more the majestic creatures like rhinos & elephants which have been around for millions of years, than what we make with their horns. I think these are beautiful cups, but every time people see these things they learn to objectify them. :(

I hope you're trolling, because this is an absurdly stupid take. Those cups are centuries old; made at a time where the concept of endangered didn't exist, and rhino's roamed freely in large numbers.

@@clawfan101 However, they're being procured NOW for this very reason. People will see this episode and want one. Plain and simple. Nothing stupid about it.

You are an absolute moron. only a few hundred poached a year while many many thousands of rhinos are born every year. rhinos are not under threat in any way shape or form. Just like polar bears. there have never been so many polar bears as before. people need to shoot them to keep the population at a healthy level. You know NOTHING. and have NO IDEA what you are talking about.
